@patrick112590 ok then i maybe i misunderstood hitchens. fact is there was never a mass enslavement of people recorded in egyptian history. neither of hebrews, nubians, (who often intermarried and had high positions also in the medjay guard force), nor of lybians / asiatics. there were slaves yes, but not hordes of them.

@darkmatrix80 go learn history man, the great pyramids were built around 2600 B.C., the biggest one is usually ascribed to Khufu. also before that the Step Pyramid of Djoser. Egypt had not invaded any nations by then, and King Tut and Cleopatra ruled much later.

If the religious are the narcissists that you claim them to be, then it makes no sense that they would create (as you claim they do) a system in which they are simply, "brown nosed mindless imperial guards marching as to war." A true narcissist would claim to be a god instead of devoting themselves to God.

Religion is simple enough to dissect when considered to be what it is - boundless narcissism.

Excellent point about the tyranny of god.  His devout followers are merely enforcers - just following orders - incapable of making independent decisions - his brown nosed mindless imperial guards marching as to war.

I also notice there's no disclaimer of how one should interpret Wilson - he doesn't tell us - "Dr. Wilson is going to tell you this - don't believe him." His arguments stand on their own.
