As far as Anette singing the songs before 2007. I actually prefer Anette's voice in Nemo and how they added to the lyrics by repeating "Nemo sacred heart.... Nemo letting goooo." Tarja was/is awesome(met her in a parking lot in Hollywood in 08' and shes very down to earth), but having her name constantly being brought up in NIGHTWISH's material is beating the dead horse. I don't know what the Tarjaholics are trying to do by bitching on Facebook and Youtube pages. It just shows how lame they are

My only problem with Annette is she can't do their old songs. So new music is a good thing because it gives her more material. Honestly, I'm more upset with the rest of the band for picking someone that made all of their old material untouchable in my opinion.

Sure, we'll never see Phantom of the Opera played again, but listen to her performances of Ghost Love Score, specifically at the Hartwall Areena in 2009, and after that, come back and try to say she can't sing the old songs. Even songs like The Siren are songs she's put her own spin on and they've turned out pretty well.

I have to point out that I agree that a good album takes time, but Nighwish did not exactly spent 4 years working continuously on Imaginaerum. The reason is that they did twice the number of concerts for DPP, they said it themselves. In my opinion they squeezed out the last penny out of that album. which for me is 'meh'. Think about it, the old NW created continuous masterpieces, so for me 4 years is a lil' too much. But hopefully they won't take this much next time.
