The pope visited for a few days, declared contraception against god, and contraception use plumetted leading to a massive increase in family sizes and poverty. The church proscribes, it doesn't wish. And it threatens those who do not conform.

Onision, I respect your opinions and i often agree with them, and I agree that god is a flaming douchebag, however you can't just make some shit like this up, back it up with evidence. I don't think if god were real that he'd kick good people out of heaven just because he's a douche. If god were real, he'd probably be all nice and shit, like the bible says. He's supposed to be perfect, so he wouldn't do that.
