@DABEARS1088 This passage is from The Companions of Jehu--page 396--"You are ninnies! I have cheated all the time we've been playing, and you never found out. Those who lost can take their money back." Born and bred in the Catholic faith, Bonaparte had no preference for any dogma. When he re-established divine worship it was done as a political act, not as a religous one.
@DABEARS1088 "Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an INVISIBLE GOVERNMENT owing NO allegiance and acknowledging NO responsibility to the people. To destroy this invisible government, to befoul this unholy alliance between corrupt business and corrupt politics is the first task of the statesmanship of today." PRESIDENT THEODORE ROOSEVELT, 1906
@DABEARS1088 Between 1555 and 1931 the Jesuit Order was expelled from at least 83 countries, city states and cities, for engaging in political intrigue and subversion plots against the welfare of the state, according to the records of a Jesuit priest of repute(Thomas J. Campbell).-J.E.C. Shepard
Thanks so much! Brings back memories of 7th grade. I was lucky, older college friends in our building turned me onto Todd etc. if this song doesn't have actual Todd or Roger Powell playing on it, it sure is influenced by them! Simply awesome!!!
Did anyone notice than in England's Channel 4's "Friday show" of Justin Lee Collins and Alan Carr they used this for the opening sountrack? They should have used the whole thing to freak viewer's out!!!!! Great Hillage

@DABEARS1088 'Alas, I knew they(i.e, The Jesuits) would poison me; but I did not except to die in so slow a cruel manner.'(1774)

I never caught that before! I guess Steve and Miquette must have been listening to Captain Beefheart.
