dude can you put the top 5 please, not just any five that would make more sense. you didn't show any verses worshiping the holy spirit. read Revelations 5:13
just pray to your god and stop all this nonsense over dogmatic distractions! ether way you take it its all JUST A BUNCH OF MAN MADE RULES ! YOU & GOD NOTHING IN BETWEEN. THATS IT, GAME OVER!! DONE!!!
Elohim appears in the bible all over. No one thinks to look at its usage. If you did you wouldn't make the mistake he does. It's called Hebrew NOT English.
There is NO proof of the triune god(s) in the old testament. Also if you removed the corruption from the new testament its not there either.
@EqualAndFree I going to do some research on that. I know the Canaanites also performed sacrifices for fertility gods as well. The flood is also an ancient Sumerian story and the 10 Commandments are the Code of Hamirabi. They believed that burning an offering would allow their god to smell the blood and become appeased. Research Tamuz and Dumuzini I believe.
@EqualAndFree In the Quran, we use "We" to refer to Allah, but it is used as a plural respect. Different cultures use terms differently. However, you are right about the fact that Israelites recognized other gods but only worshipped theirs. A plural form for a singular god sometimes emphasize god. Yahweh was an Egyptian God I believe.
@EqualAndFree Elohim is also a plural respect. It's kind of like when foreign dignities say "we" to refer to themselves and also the kings in the middle age times. In Hebrew and Arabic, it is common to see god spoken as a plural sense as a "royal respect" because if you notice, the New Testament don't use god in a plural because in Greek, "us" means more than one.
When one man is reading the Bible aloud to the people, he uses the Divine Power of the Story Teller, to be the Narrator with a certain style and voice, and then he as the single sole actor must do the parts of the people in the story with a voice for them, and then when God appears and speaks directly in the First Person Tense, the Story Teller uses a very special voice and behavior to show the people that now God is Speaking ! So the Teacher has to be of Three Person Tenses to speak it.
trins say the Word is the 2nd person. well, this doesn't make sense. john 1:1 says In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God. well, if we look at it according to trin doc. we would have to assume that "God" who the Word was with is actually the Father, but there is a problem because john says "and the Word WAS GOD". so, if God is the Father in John1:1 inwhich the Word was with, then how can the Word be God who is the Father? Jesus is more than a 2nd person.
@davidgold1976, Your statement really doesnt flow logically and it is also a straw-man. Your conclusion is something like this: "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with the Father and the Word was the Father". This is a logical contradiction because you cannot "be with" or distinct from the Father and "be the" The Father at the sametime. Trinitarians are not Sabellians or modalist, "kai o logos hein pros ton theon" proves that Jesus is God yet distinct from the Father.
@LogosTheos if that is how u feel then ok, i was once a trinitarian and in error and it was hard for me to accept the truth at first, but after many endless months of studying and seeking God i could no longer deny what God was showing me. so, i will not put u down. Btw, i am not a sabellian or modalist either, i am not even too familar with what they believe in. however, God bless u my friend.
I wonder what the "Trinity " was called before it originated over 200 years after the death of Christ and the apostles? the concept of the "trinity" is a misunderstanding of what the Bible is really teaching. I dont believe trinitarians are trying to deceive pple, but I believe that they are in error and 1 john 5:7 does NOT prove a trinity, plus it is an older addition and that in itself should be taken into consideration as to why it was added in the first place.
Talking about believing a LIE when this verse is SPURIOUS, which is another phrase for ADDED when it was *NOT* THERE !!!
Any credibility they have is gone out of the window,
This verse is now universally recognized as being a later "insertion" of the Church and all recent versions of the Bible, the LIST IS LONG, have all unceremoniously expunged this verse from their pages. Not in any manuscript before than the 15th century.
oh and do your research on 1st john 5-7 the Comma Johanneum was added in to try and prove trinity its sole purpose was to try and slience the ARians..
thus at john 1.3 it reads as follows - ( greek says: panta di autou egento ) Everything came to be through [di] (the Word)." thus the father created THROUGH the logos - the FATHER is the creater not the SON -- Have we not all One Father? Has not One God created us? (Malachi 2:10). christainity is cult to teach a man who was God ? died for there sins come on lol
@kombatzero I don't get your logic. You quote the Bible to disprove Christianity and the Bible. You say on your channel that Christianity is pretty much false, and then follows alot of quotes from Bible to disprove it?
You do not and will not understand anything in the Bible until you're Saved, read Romans 10:9 for instructions.
mmm all things were NOT made by him -- john 1.3 " HIM " is a singular pronoun - which means one -- that would mean that jesus as the son created all things - if thats the case where does that leave the other members of the trinity - etc the father and the holy spirit in creation ? they played no part in creation ? thus only one member of the trinity did tthe creating mmm ?
@kombatzero U have a false view of the trinity as do most the bible teaches the trinity isn't 3 seperate beings
it is 1 being with 3 persons as taught in the bible who would u say Jesus was when he was Glorified with the same Glory he had before the world was what would u make out of that statement
Jesus while he was on earth didn't claim to be God but when you read Philippians 2:5-11 you see that Jesus didn't come to earth to claim to be God or to show off, he came and lived as a humble servant. In Rev 1:17 Jesus said he was the first & the last. Isaiah 44:6 Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and beside me there is no God. So Yep the trinity is biblical.
@Ashrai07 I love how people try and discredit the trinity by sayin either Tell me in the bible the verse it says we are a trinity lol or others that try and say oh thats not right but never have any scripture to back it up
the only argument anyone has is when Jesus was on Earth and apperently those people don't understand at that time he humbled himself and become flesh
@chrisandstaci and after he had died he just went back to his heavenly postion as said for you people that can't read JESUS IS THE WORD OF GOD MADE FLESH as said in scripture
oh, and if you read the bible you will also notice God has a court, even Satan has held audience there with other Sons of God. (not angels, because the bible says, "to which of his angels did God ever call son?") This "us" is them. Christ was among and with God in the beginning and had a hand in creating the world, but he is not The God. Btw, many people had names that meant God saves or God is my king, etc Amiel means: God of my people. Your point is? ..Triniys..always using bad translations
Trinitarians have huge problems because they read bibles where the translation uses the same word for words that should have difference. Christ never said he was God, he was called only Son of God and he distinctly said "no one is good but God" Besides, even the disciples recieved God's spirit. Are they equal status with Christ now? And we as christians are being offered to become Sons of God as well. Are we are equal with Christ now? I guess one day, one way or another, everyone will be God.
I challenge ANYONE to post hereJUST one scripture where it says "God is 3 in 1". He made it CLEAR....that He is ONE,........yes. I am sick of trinitarians telling me "it is TRUTH and I just have to beleive it". I read the KJV and NEVER does God tell us ANYWHERE that He is "3 in 1".
I only want a verse where it specifically says that He is "3 in 1". And forget the ones you say "allude" to it. If God is 3 in 1, the Bible would say so. It is written that...... "He is one". Anybody?????
Do you thing Almighty God would accidentally leave out such an important word as Trinity if it was part of what he was?? Is his Holy spirit (Or active force)lacking in ability to perform what he has required of it ? Yet the Word Trinity does not appear in the holy scriptures from Genesis to Revelation . If i was you i'd type in Origin of the holy trinity in Google and you will clearly find out its origin
(YOURS)"I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; From the time that it was, there am I; and now the Lord God, and his Spirit, hath sent me,(MINE)"I used a letter for letter Transliteration and it gives "Come near to me, you people. Hear this. From the start I have spoken in no place of concealment at all. From the time of its occurring I have been there. Take a look in an Interlinear and get a transliteration of your verse and you will see where you are going wrong !
The belief that the Trinity is a mystery, that the father is God, the Son is God and the Holy Spirit is God, is stated by Christendom to be a "mystery!" Could the following be a reason they label it a mystery?
Luke 1:36 states that Mary and Elizabeth are cousins, and that John is 6 months older than Jesus, making John and Jesus second cousins. Luke 3:23 says Jesus was about 30 years old when he was baptized by John, and here is where the "mystery" begins.
The Trinity teachers claim that Jesus is God. This immediately makes John God's second cousin, and makes John 6 months older than God - and man was here on earth 4,000 years before God was born. This is ridiculous, but it gets even better.
When you read Luke 3:21, 22, John had the unspeakable privilege of baptizing
his Creator, who was also his second cousin. But the incredible thing is that John was 6 months old before his Creator was born.
The Trinity teachers say that the Holy Spirit is also God. So, now, get this! While John is standing there in the water, he sees God comedown and sit down on top of his own head. And, that's not all - he gets a good look at God. God is now either a bird sitting on top of what looks like a man (or is it the other way round?)
Then, he discovers this God-Bird-Man is also a ventriloquist - while he stands there in utter disbelief, God tells a deliberate lie to the people who are watching. Obviously he doesn't want the people to know that he is really God, so he throws his voice to make it appear like someone in Heaven is speaking and saying "This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased." This is amazing!! No wonder they call it a mystery.
"God" is the "Godhead" consisting of both the Father & the Son, two seperate beings, of one PURPOSE, UNITED in PURPOSE! Yes, the trinity is false doctrine! It teaches that the Father & the Son are the same being!
From my point of view both side of the trinity debate have a good argument but
I'm not convinced Gods grace and salvation is only available to those who have a firm understanding of the trinity.
Personally speaking I suspect Jesus is the messiah sent by God to die for our sins. Is he equal with God ? I don't think so but I'm more convicted about my other shortcomings in light of what Jesus taught than I am about the trinity. I bet the thief on the cross was no trinity expert
From my point of view both side of the trinity debate presented a good argument just as you have. I'm not convinced Gods grace and salvation is only available to those who have a firm understanding of the trinity.
Personally speaking I suspect Jesus is the messiah sent by God the Father to die for our sins. Is he equal with God the Father? I don't know for sure but I'm more convicted about my shortcomings in light of what Jesus taught about love.
We being Americans never bow down or fall on our faces to anyone - This was common though in hebrew times. Althought we should bow to our faces and worship GOD, we dont. Instead we stand up and sing then sit down - This is a different culture - we have to interpret it with a hebraic mindset, not a western american mindset of the term "worship".
You will find "fell on face and worshipped" or made obeisance, or bowed down and worshipped - Is used extensively in the Tanach as referring to worship (Shacah) of men and GOD, but never is one shown to worship any one as Yahweh Elohim. Worship is to pay respect, pay homage, bow down, reverence, etc. etc. IT is a common word. Just like Yahshua, being a Jew, "fell on his face and prayed" He was worshipping Yahweh Elohim the GOD of Israel.
Now prayer is a form of worship we know this. Did anyone pray to the Holy Spirit? Is that taught anywhere? When people worshipped Yahshua - it is the equivalent of Shacah - People Proskuneo Yashua, just as the verse i used before, 2Sam 1:2 - states David fell on his face and made obesiance (shacah) to Saul, Gods messiah. In the greek OT LXX of 2Sam 1:2, it is proskuneo, this is a general term and in no way applies Yahshua is Yahweh. See how many times the phrase "fell on face" is used.
This word shacah is used alot - Gen 49:8, 2Sam 1:2 (obesiance=shacah), 2Sam 14:4, 1Kings 1:16, 2Chr 24:17, etc. In our world we can say we Shacah police officers, the president, our parents, our managers, etc. Yahshua in Matt 26:39 - fell on his face and prayed (worship) to Yahweh. Prayed is proseuchomai. The main word used for worship in greek is proskuneo - Like Yahshua taught in Matt 4:10 - Worship Yahweh Only. There are other different words for worship.
Worship - only to God is another common misconception - this is a Hebrew bible, not Western American - if we say worship it means to GOD or diety. IF hebrews say worship it is Shacah (worship, bow down, prostrate, make obeisance "KJV", etc.) This is used plenty of times in the Tanach - For ex: Gen 27:29 - Isaac blessed Jacob "Let the nations Bow Down (shacah) to you, be lord over your brothers and let thy mothers sons Bow Down (shacah) to you.
The power of Messiah is more then Human - OK, so was Moses' power. Whats your point? Acts 10:38 - GOD anointed Yashua of Nazareth with the holy spirit and POWER who went about doing miracles, for GOD was WITH Him. Isaiah 61 - For the spirit of YAHWEH is upon Me (Yahshua) for HE (Yahweh) has anointed ME (Yahshua) to preach to good news. Acts 4:24-30 - praying to Yahweh Elohim about his servant who he anointed - Yahshua - Isaiah 42:1-7 - Yahweh and his servant (Yahshua) he anointed.
I have to say that list is not very deeply thought or studied. Genesis 1, Elohim - are you serious? This is precisely why gentiles were separate from Jews - Monotheistic opposed to polytheistic. Have you ever heard of personal pronouns? Look them up in the Tanach, have you heard of how the hebrew word Elohim is used for Yahweh, angels, judges, men, etc. And have you heard it used for single beings (chemosh, astarte - pagan gods) Ask a real Hebrew WHY its plural, to stress might.
I don't believe in the Trinity for many reason but I really don't think it affects you salvation, scripture says confess Yeshua is Lord not God so really even the Trinity is real I am still saved so...
@joelatfrontier Why do you encourage someone who dosnt speak the TRUTH? These are the undeniable FACTS. Jesus is the SON of GOD Jesus gave up HIS LIFE so that men can be SAVED His FATHER raised him from the DEAD. 30Years after his ascension he is still a MAN 1 tIM 2V5 The Holy Spirit is the POWER of GOD Luke 1 v 35 Jesus always remains subject to HIS FATHER never described as equal 1 COR 15 V28 Trinity or Triune God is NOT mentioned in the BIBLE. Why? Its NOT TRUE
@CamdenChristadelphia How do YOU judge right or wrong ? By the prescription of uneducated people living 3.000 years ago ? If so, do you still find it right to own slaves ?
@CamdenChristadelphia : So those slaves were exactly like the slaves in the US or anywhere else. And the bible(the word of god) regulated slavery. Right ? What does that say about the word of god ?
@CamdenChristadelphia The bible itself describes those slaves and they were not different from the slavery in the 20th century. Theywere sold ,bought, inherited, like catlle--
--.Uneducated people-- Yes UNEDUCATED people. Mass education is a modern phenomenon. In those days (without schools, does the bible ever say that Jesus went to school ?) there were a few educated people. The masses were illiterate. Where is your reason ?
When you quote the Bible like you were a scholar can you please give me some passage you are referring to. Particularly where servants or as you would prefer ,slaves, were bought , inherited like cattle.
Uneducated compared to what or who? Jesus would have had the same education that any other child of his time would have had.
Is your only definition of education attending a school?
CamdenChristadelphia Leviticus 25:44-46 "Thy bondmen, which thou shalt have, shall be of the heathen that are round about you; of them shall ye buy bondmen and bondmaids. Moreover of the children of the strangers that do sojourn among you, of them shall ye buy, and of their families that are with you,and they shall be your possession. And ye shall take them as an inheritance for your children after you, to inherit them for a possession; they shall be your bondmen for ever:."
Abraham awaits the ressurection. Jesus is coming back to the EARTH to set up the Kingdom of GOD on EARTH.
Christianity has gone off on some TANGENT believing the IMMORTAL SOUL and heaven going. The BIBLE speaks NOTHING about an immortal soul NOR HEAVEN GOING
When we die we are buried or cremated and we wait for the ressurection to be accepted or rejected into the KINGDOM of GOD
you can not put a number on God. and that is exactly what the trinity does. God is complete. his is perfect in every thing that he is. "if" you can put a number on God it would not be "3" it would be "7". "7" is the number of perfection or completeness. God made the heaven and earth in 6 days and on the 7th he rested because He's work was completed. and God saw it was Good (perfect). not to mention the "7" spirits of God that go through all the earth. mentioned in Revelation.
it's kinda hard to take you seriously distorting your voice...scripture is scripture, you can't go against scripture. and it may seem that's it's evident that God is trinity, with vs like Gen 1:26 11:7 and the name Elohim. and even Mat 3:16. yet. God is not "God in 3 persons" God is not a person(s) God is spirit. we are made in his image not the other way around. God is "I Am" Ex3:14-15. God is Complete in everything that he is. trinity didn't take it's root until 315 b.c.
@WalkingThroughOut God three offices....Father, Son, Spirit. Yes the word trinity is not in the Bible- but the word Bible, is not in the Bible either, but we still believe in the Bible.
Interesting that if you look into anywhere in the Bible that depects a vision of God or Jesus in Heaven the are ALLWAYS shown as 2 individuals. and no where is seen the Holy spirit only the distinct two (.No 3 in 1 visions anywhere ), isn't that interesting!
Also the father sends or dispatches the Son and The Holy Spirit but nowhere is The father ever dispatched by anyone. People are filled with or given holy spirit. No one is given or filled with the Father or the Son.
@WalkingThroughOut - do you pride yourself on being a moron?!! "MOLESTATION" DOES NOT appear in the Bible, but you probably think it is bad. Moron. We all know perfectly well that we use words to SUM up an ideology . What kind of child level reason is that??? The word Trinity is not in the Bible. When you want to discuss like a grown up.... chat with us at this higher level, even if you can get up to at least a 5th grader....
The Elohim is plural because the Elohim is Jehovah's creative force. Every created being only has their ability because Jehovah gives it to them, so in the end it's really God doing the creating. Think on the meaning behind The Archangel Michael (Only one Archangel). "Who is like God?".
The difference between the apostles and Jesus was that Jesus was not born with original sin. The full measure of God's spirit rested upon Jesus because only a perfect human being could receive the spirit in full measure. Just compare Moses to Jesus. Moses as an imperfect yet faithful servant of God just like the apostles, can not be glorified but Jesus was glorified. Jesus only received the full measure of the spirit at baptism. Jesus was the only begotten SON of God. God's first creation
There is no triune god in the Bible. God is a spirit, and he is come in the flesh. In the Son of God dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. This video confuses me. Either whoever made it knows there is no trinity, and is making a mockery of those who teach it, or, whoever made this video is just a fool, and his foolishness cannot be hid...To you who made this video--are you trying to teach trinity, or are you purposely showing how ridiculous it is? I really can't tell...
I believe strongly in the trinity, but Christians should know that 1 John 5:7(or the version in the King James version) was added into the bible later in the middle ages.
@InDefenseofChrist - yes it is a disputed verse. But it is not because it was added in the middle ages. The point is that it was not found in the 'earliest' manuscripts we have today in existence. It does appear in later ones.
People who think the Trinity is just an invention of the Roman Catholic Church have obviously not been exposed to the ancient writings of: Irenaeus, Justin Martyr, Origen, Hippolytus, Athenagoras, Tertullian. All of whom wrote about the Trinity. One of the greatest sources of antiquity that shows the depth of understanding of this concept can be found in Tertullian's work "Against Praxaes" [ANF, vol.3], in which he is defending against Unitarianism. He gives amazing exegesis of Scripture.
@CamdenChristadelphia No. The trinity concept is spelled out through the scriptures. It shows God's 3 revelations to man. The Father, The Son, and The Spirit are actually titles of these 3 revelations of God.
The Father is titled for the Being that was in Heaven. Above Man
The Son is that Being who was reveled as physical human. As Man
The Spirit is that being being reveled in our hearts. In Man
@xu1997 This is gotten from the Bible. The Bible shows in and out that The Father is God, the Son is God and the Holy Spirit is God. From the verses through out, we see that God is trinity
@xu1997 Ah, the Father isn't actually like "dad". The Father, Son, an Holy Spirit are actually titles.
The Father being a title for God as the Being reveled in Heaven
The Son being God reveled physically Man
The Spirit being God's revelation out of heaven and inside Man/World.
Jesus was God yet at the same time was 100% human, he temporarily submitted himself under our human nature and code. Making him lower in position = the position that we are in.
Chrsitainity isn't all divided. Because the only important thing is that Jesus is God, he came to earth and died for our sins. And God is trinity. That is the common and only needed belief. Christians have their own beliefs concerning practices yet not in the main doctrine.
@CamdenChristadelphia did you not watch one are even listen to him when he said its like a marriage even through the husband is greater in the marriage does not make the wife any lower then him it a is a equal relation ship. so it be with god three but one and the same
Elohim=gods, eloah=a god....the reason y the father and Jesus are one is a ref to a beg walk with the gods....Jesus is both beg and end or the father and mother....this is where the confusion comes in Isaiah 'he is the everlasting father, or beg" Jesus is the beg and end of our walk, but when once u know how to walk then u don't need to follow Jesus anymore, but walk with the gods or with supreme being...we are all part of the Godhead for we r all gods, Jesus gives teaching to show the way
4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is ONE!
That there is general coincidence between the systems of Babylon and Rome, the question arises, When does the coincidences stop? And the answer is that they are duplicate systems. Let us compare the ancient Babylonian Mystery Trinity and the system of Rome and it's trinity. It then will be plainly seen how immensely the one has borrowed from the other.
I believe fully in the trinity (although the word is not a biblical word the concept is), but the verse you used in the beginning (1 JN 5:7) is not what the Bible originally said. In fact, that version of the verse did not come along until like the 13th/ 14th century when someone fabricated a verse in order to have direct proof of the trinity concept. Originally it just said: "For there are three that testify: the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement." (7-8).
wrong mutterabbit Isaiah 9:6 (King James Version) 6For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
This is a messianic prophesy. Only one person fuffiled this prophesy. his name is YESHUA (JESUS CHRIST) !
The trinity is a lie. God is not a person save God in the flesh so God is one person not 3. Further more you cannot make doctrine from hints that is part of the problem with Christianity is we develop doctrine from things the Bible does not say. This is why we have trinities, people going to Heaven when they die, the pretrib rapture, once saved always saved, and the list goes ever on. Lets just believe what the Bible actually does say for a change!
@rclamb04 once save always saved is right if a saved one lost their salvation god would have to go back on his word and change his mind something that bible says God never does and their is a trinity Jesus himself said it baptize in the name of God the father /god the son and god the holy spirit doe snot mean we can go on sinning but god always hold the day of salvation for us we will just be reprehended and have conquances in this life if we continue to sin
@christlover3000 their have been events when God changed his mind. Exodus 32:7-14...and Jesus did not say go baptizing in the "Name" of the father, son and Holy spirit to prove the trinity. but baptize in the "Name' that is Given to us to be saved. Acts 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." and what is that "NAME"? JESUS!
@rclamb04 Isaiah (9:5) For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given, and the rest on His shoulder will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
The IMMORTAL SOUL is another fable that gullible "christians" swallow as if it came from the Holy scriptures but it dosnt, in fact the term is not mentioned.
Does the fact its NOT in the BiBLE STOP THIS MOB IN THEIR TRACKS?
No way . Jesus was MORTAL and IMMORTAL at the same time, he was GOD and MAN at the same time, he DIED then resurrected himself.
@CamdenChristadelphia Amen good to see some one that actually studies the scriptures rather than their statement of faith. it is time to wake up people to the truth and come out of Babylon
@rclamb04 Studying or simple reading the Bible is not hard. It becomes complicated when you try to weave Pagan doctrine with the WORD of God.
We read in the Gospels that Jesus DIED for our sins, he gave up or sacrificed HIS LIFE for US. He is described as a MAN, Matt 1 gives his family tree.
In short he was a mortal man born of a woman by the Holy spirit.
Now watch a trinitarian try to simply tell that same story. To them Jesus is immortal so you can see the CONTRADICTION with the BIBLE
Great video. I think most people try to understnd the trinity doctrine through the flesh. It is spiritual and not carnal. This is the sword I use when they doubt the diety of the lord Jesus Christ.
Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, THE MIGHTY GOD, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace
God is not a trinity. The bible prove that time and time again. Isaiah 9:6. Its talking about jesus and it calls him the Father. Notice that F in Father is cap. So it is giving referrence to Jehovah. The trinity doctrine teach that there is one Father one Son and one Holy Ghost. Well why does the Son called Father in this verse.
A) Concepts that DO appear in the bible often or in significant measure will do have names or titles.
B) Examples are Salvation, Atonement, Messiah, Sin, Prophet, Apostle, Disciple, Baptism etc.
C) Since the "trinity" is so central to scripture why doesn't the bible have ANY word (trinity or triperson or triad) to describe it?
D) Since it is so 'central' why do you have to take a verse from one author and combine it with one from another author just to try and say that it is in the bible at all?
wow, ok well all those words you mentioned were obviously in English, the Bible was not originally English. We can use words to describe things, the Bible may not actually use the word trinity but that doesn't mean we can't describe it that way. The Bible says "the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit" and that they are 1 God... tri = three. the same way we made up our whole language from others, we can add words to express things more simply
Come ye near unto me, hear ye this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, hath sent me.
Nice video Brother. I checked my Aramaic NT and went to 1 John 5:7 it said the this verse was not in the original manuscripts It was inserted under the authority of Constantine nor in the oldest greek text or the Vulgate. I have always believed in the trinity because I was taught this, butas I look closer I believe it is different that we have been taught. Nice video though. YHWH bless you
I just wanted to let you know that this verse was not inserted by Constantine. He was not in the picture until quite some time after the following texts were written, and they all include 1 John 5:7.
Clearly, you have reasoned out why you believe in the trinity. I would suggest that you study the scriptures to see how it does not support the trinity doctrine. Deut 6:4 is a very good foundation from which to start. The teaching of the trinity further drives many of Judaism from acknowledging Jesus' diety. Coincidentaly, even Hinduism has a trinity. I wish you well and would never desire to criticize you! The Bible says 'the fullness of the Godhead dwells bodily in Christ Jesus'
Let me ask you a question that no one here seems to know the answer to. *sigh* here I go again:
If Jesus died for our sins, who resurrected him? And if he resurrected himself, then that means that he never died, correct? Also, who was Jesus praying to right before his death when he said, Luke 22:42 - "Father, if you are willing, take this cup away from me. Yet not MY will but YOURS be done." You use John 1:1 about the word, etc, but if you scroll down and read John 1:18, what does that say?
this question has been answered to you in the past. if you are not understanding the answer either you are not reading your Bible in full context or may be blinded. all that's left for others to do is pray for your salvation.
So thorough and relevant; as always -- as he discussed "In the beginning" the t-shirt he wore "In The Beginning"...they are just so excellent in all that they do!
I don't know why, but I've always had trouble believing in the Trinity. I think it's because my brain keeps telling it's almost polytheism if I think of God as three people, so I usually just think of Him as one Person, Who can take on many, many forms. =| Plus, I have trouble believing that the Trinity is the same since the God of the Old Testament is so different than Jesus. Oh, well...some things I can't even try to understand. T_T
:O Keep on truckin, BearGirl. Always pray for God to reveal himself to you, seeking Him, and as He has promised He will answer you! In fact I do it all the time. The mysteries of God are so deep and so enthralling...
16And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? 17And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
I liked your video, I believe in the trinity, but this is an example of one rebuke, What are your thoughts?
...Christ Jesus, who, although He existed in the form of God, did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men. (Philippians 2:5-7)
We aren't "meant" to understand it.
did not regard equality with God a thing to be grasped
but emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men.
"Emptied Himself, departing Himself into flesh." We cannot grasp it.
I have at least 17 scriptures that justify why the Trinity is a required doctrinal belief of a true Christian. This does not include a large number of Binitarian verses that speak of the Father and the Son. Think of One "what" with three "Whos". The Father, Son and the HOly s

Research Tamuz and Dumuzini I believe.
ultimatemaijn 2 months ago
@EqualAndFree In the Quran, we use "We" to refer to Allah, but it is used as a plural respect. Different cultures use terms differently. However, you are right about the fact that Israelites recognized other gods but only worshipped theirs. A plural form for a singular god sometimes emphasize god. Yahweh was an Egyptian God I believe.
ultimatemaijn 2 months ago
@EqualAndFree Elohim is also a plural respect. It's kind of like when foreign dignities say "we" to refer to themselves and also the kings in the middle age times. In Hebrew and Arabic, it is common to see god spoken as a plural sense as a "royal respect" because if you notice, the New Testament don't use god in a plural because in Greek, "us" means more than one.

jesus said at John 5 : 18,19 that he cannot do anything by his own initiative. he also said why do you call me

no longer in the flesh when mentioned these words. jesus also said that he does

there is no such thing as" in between". do you want more? 45 years exp

Jesus is more than a 2nd person.
davidgold1976 8 months ago
@davidgold1976, Your statement really doesnt flow logically and it is also a straw-man. Your conclusion is something like this: "In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with the Father and the Word was the Father". This is a logical contradiction because you cannot "be with" or distinct from the Father and "be the" The Father at the sametime. Trinitarians are not Sabellians or modalist, "kai o logos hein pros ton theon" proves that Jesus is God yet distinct from the Father.
LogosTheos 8 months ago

I wonder what the "Trinity " was called before it originated over 200 years after the death of Christ and the apostles? the concept of the "trinity" is a misunderstanding of what the Bible is really teaching. I dont believe trinitarians are trying to deceive pple, but I believe that they are in error and 1 john 5:7 does NOT prove a trinity, plus it is an older addition and that in itself should be taken into consideration as to why it was added in the first place.
davidgold1976 8 months ago
I can't believe it.
Trnitarians are STILL quoting 1 John 5:7 ????
Talking about believing a LIE when this verse is SPURIOUS, which is another phrase for ADDED when it was *NOT* THERE !!!
Any credibility they have is gone out of the window,
This verse is now universally recognized as being a later "insertion" of the Church and all recent versions of the Bible, the LIST IS LONG, have all unceremoniously expunged this verse from their pages. Not in any manuscript before than the 15th century.

thus at john 1.3 it reads as follows - ( greek says: panta di autou egento ) Everything came to be through [di] (the Word)." thus the father created THROUGH the logos - the FATHER is the creater not the SON -- Have we not all One Father? Has not One God created us? (Malachi 2:10). christainity is cult to teach a man who was God ? died for there sins come on lol
kombatzero 9 months ago
@kombatzero I don't get your logic. You quote the Bible to disprove Christianity and the Bible. You say on your channel that Christianity is pretty much false, and then follows alot of quotes from Bible to disprove it?
You do not and will not understand anything in the Bible until you're Saved, read Romans 10:9 for instructions.

mmm all things were NOT made by him -- john 1.3 " HIM " is a singular pronoun - which means one -- that would mean that jesus as the son created all things - if thats the case where does that leave the other members of the trinity - etc the father and the holy spirit in creation ? they played no part in creation ? thus only one member of the trinity did tthe creating mmm ?
kombatzero 9 months ago

So Yep the trinity is biblical.

oh, and if you read the bible you will also notice God has a court, even Satan has held audience there with other Sons of God.
Ashrai07 11 months ago
Trinitarians have huge problems because they read bibles where the translation uses the same word for words that should have difference. Christ never said he was God, he was called only Son of God and he distinctly said "no one is good but God" Besides, even the disciples recieved God's spirit. Are they equal status with Christ now? And we as christians are being offered to become Sons of God as well. Are we are equal with Christ now? I guess one day, one way or another, everyone will be God.

Luke 3:23 says Jesus was about 30 years old when he was baptized by John, and here is where the "mystery" begins.
bonnyjishop 1 year ago
The Trinity teachers claim that Jesus is God. This immediately makes John God's second cousin, and makes John 6 months older than God - and man was here on earth 4,000 years before God was born. This is ridiculous, but it gets even better.
When you read Luke 3:21, 22, John had the unspeakable privilege of baptizing
his Creator, who was also his second cousin. But the incredible thing is that John was 6 months old before his Creator was born.
bonnyjishop 1 year ago
The Trinity teachers say that the Holy Spirit is also God. So, now, get this! While John is standing there in the water, he sees God comedown and sit down on top of his own head. And, that's not all - he gets a good look at God. God is now either a bird sitting on top of what looks like a man (or is it the other way round?)
bonnyjishop 1 year ago
Then, he discovers this God-Bird-Man is also a ventriloquist - while he stands there in utter disbelief, God tells a deliberate lie to the people who are watching. Obviously he doesn't want the people to know that he is really God, so he throws his voice to make it appear like someone in Heaven is speaking and saying "This is my beloved Son in whom I am well pleased." This is amazing!! No wonder they call it a mystery.

We being Americans never bow down or fall on our faces to anyone - This was common though in hebrew times. Althought we should bow to our faces and worship GOD, we dont. Instead we stand up and sing then sit down - This is a different culture - we have to interpret it with a hebraic mindset, not a western american mindset of the term "worship".
markpaghi 1 year ago
You will find "fell on face and worshipped" or made obeisance, or bowed down and worshipped - Is used extensively in the Tanach as referring to worship (Shacah) of men and GOD, but never is one shown to worship any one as Yahweh Elohim. Worship is to pay respect, pay homage, bow down, reverence, etc. etc. IT is a common word. Just like Yahshua, being a Jew, "fell on his face and prayed" He was worshipping Yahweh Elohim the GOD of Israel.
markpaghi 1 year ago
Now prayer is a form of worship we know this. Did anyone pray to the Holy Spirit? Is that taught anywhere? When people worshipped Yahshua - it is the equivalent of Shacah - People Proskuneo Yashua, just as the verse i used before, 2Sam 1:2 - states David fell on his face and made obesiance (shacah) to Saul, Gods messiah. In the greek OT LXX of 2Sam 1:2, it is proskuneo, this is a general term and in no way applies Yahshua is Yahweh. See how many times the phrase "fell on face" is used.
markpaghi 1 year ago
This word shacah is used alot - Gen 49:8, 2Sam 1:2 (obesiance=shacah), 2Sam 14:4, 1Kings 1:16, 2Chr 24:17, etc. In our world we can say we Shacah police officers, the president, our parents, our managers, etc. Yahshua in Matt 26:39 - fell on his face and prayed (worship) to Yahweh. Prayed is proseuchomai. The main word used for worship in greek is proskuneo - Like Yahshua taught in Matt 4:10 - Worship Yahweh Only. There are other different words for worship.
markpaghi 1 year ago
Worship - only to God is another common misconception - this is a Hebrew bible, not Western American - if we say worship it means to GOD or diety. IF hebrews say worship it is Shacah (worship, bow down, prostrate, make obeisance "KJV", etc.) This is used plenty of times in the Tanach - For ex: Gen 27:29 - Isaac blessed Jacob "Let the nations Bow Down (shacah) to you, be lord over your brothers and let thy mothers sons Bow Down (shacah) to you.
markpaghi 1 year ago
The power of Messiah is more then Human - OK, so was Moses' power. Whats your point? Acts 10:38 - GOD anointed Yashua of Nazareth with the holy spirit and POWER who went about doing miracles, for GOD was WITH Him. Isaiah 61 - For the spirit of YAHWEH is upon Me (Yahshua) for HE (Yahweh) has anointed ME (Yahshua) to preach to good news. Acts 4:24-30 - praying to Yahweh Elohim about his servant who he anointed - Yahshua - Isaiah 42:1-7 - Yahweh and his servant (Yahshua) he anointed.
markpaghi 1 year ago
I have to say that list is not very deeply thought or studied. Genesis 1, Elohim - are you serious? This is precisely why gentiles were separate from Jews - Monotheistic opposed to polytheistic. Have you ever heard of personal pronouns? Look them up in the Tanach, have you heard of how the hebrew word Elohim is used for Yahweh, angels, judges, men, etc. And have you heard it used for single beings (chemosh, astarte - pagan gods) Ask a real Hebrew WHY its plural, to stress might.

@lizazoon It dosnt matter if the various christian groups cant agree, what matters is that they agree with the BIBLE.
Just take for example the promise made to Abraham in Gen 12,13,15,17
He was told to walk thru the land of promise because all that he saw God would give it to HIM and his SEED.
Abraham died without having enough land to bury HIS WIFE.
Heb 11 tells us that he looked to the future to recieve that promise making the reward of the faithful ON EARTH.

@CamdenChristadelphia The bible itself describes those slaves and they were not different from the slavery in the 20th century. Theywere sold ,bought, inherited, like catlle--

@lizazoon There's no prize for second.
When you quote the Bible like you were a scholar can you please give me some passage you are referring to. Particularly where servants or as you would prefer ,slaves, were bought , inherited like cattle.

Luke 1 v35 tells us the Spirit of God is the POWER of God. Not a person BUT his power.
The trinity was a compromise made in the 4 century under the micromanagement of Emperor Constantine and has nothing to do with the word of God.
You , unfortunately have become an apologist for Constantines mixing of The word of God and Paganism.

This is NOT possible if Jesus is a trinity god.

It is ironic that you deny Jesus as God in a verse that specifically calls him the son of God.
How can Jesus receive glory, honor, power, & worship if He is not God?
How could exist before Abraham if He wasn't God?
How could Jesus have created the universe if he wasn't God?
Did you watch the video? You don't think Dan made a solid case from the word of God? In what ways did he mix the Scriptures he quoted with Paganism??

To Use 1 John 5v7 to proove the trinity shows a lack of understanding of the controversy surrounding that verse. It was not in the original.

you can not put a number on God. and that is exactly what the trinity does.

God's first creation
sarevor 1 year ago

InDefenseofChrist 1 year ago

I'm sorry but the doctrine of the Trinity was established long before there was any such entity as the Roman Catholic Church.
rkg62976 1 year ago
@CamdenChristadelphia No. The trinity concept is spelled out through the scriptures. It shows God's 3 revelations to man. The Father, The Son, and The Spirit are actually titles of these 3 revelations of God.
The Father is titled for the Being that was in Heaven. Above Man
The Son is that Being who was reveled as physical human. As Man
The Spirit is that being being reveled in our hearts. In Man
cisco19 1 year ago
Where on earth did you get this from.
It sounds like you have written the gospel according to ST CISCO.
Ive never heard so much rubbish.
No wonder Christianity is so divided. Its back to the days where everyone does and thinks whats right in there OWN EYES.
None of what you said has a BIBLICAL basis.
xu1997 1 year ago
@xu1997 This is gotten from the Bible. The Bible shows in and out that The Father is God, the Son is God and the Holy Spirit is God. From the verses through out, we see that God is trinity
cisco19 1 year ago
Who was the FATHER of Jesus,God the FATHER or the Holy Spirit? Luke 1 suggests it was the Holy Spirit.
What do you say?
xu1997 1 year ago
@xu1997 Ah, the Father isn't actually like "dad". The Father, Son, an Holy Spirit are actually titles.
The Father being a title for God as the Being reveled in Heaven
The Son being God reveled physically Man
The Spirit being God's revelation out of heaven and inside Man/World.
Jesus was God yet at the same time was 100% human, he temporarily submitted himself under our human nature and code. Making him lower in position = the position that we are in.
cisco19 1 year ago
@xu1997
Chrsitainity isn't all divided. Because the only important thing is that Jesus is God, he came to earth and died for our sins. And God is trinity. That is the common and only needed belief. Christians have their own beliefs concerning practices yet not in the main doctrine.

Deuteronomy 6:4
4 Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is ONE!
That there is general coincidence between the systems of Babylon and Rome, the question arises, When does the coincidences stop? And the answer is that they are duplicate systems. Let us compare the ancient Babylonian Mystery Trinity and the system of Rome and it's trinity. It then will be plainly seen how immensely the one has borrowed from the other.
IsaacBG84 2 years ago
I believe fully in the trinity (although the word is not a biblical word the concept is), but the verse you used in the beginning (1 JN 5:7) is not what the Bible originally said. In fact, that version of the verse did not come along until like the 13th/ 14th century when someone fabricated a verse in order to have direct proof of the trinity concept. Originally it just said: "For there are three that testify: the Spirit, the water and the blood; and the three are in agreement." (7-8).

@rclamb04 once save always saved is right if a saved one lost their salvation god would have to go back on his word and change his mind something that bible says God never does and their is a trinity Jesus himself said it baptize in the name of God the father /god the son and god the holy spirit doe snot mean we can go on sinning but god always hold the day of salvation for us we will just be reprehended and have conquances in this life if we continue to sin
christlover3000 1 year ago
@christlover3000 their have been events when God changed his mind. Exodus 32:7-14...and Jesus did not say go baptizing in the "Name" of the father, son and Holy spirit to prove the trinity. but baptize in the "Name' that is Given to us to be saved. Acts 4:12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." and what is that "NAME"? JESUS!

He also prayed to himself.
The BIBLE speaks of none of this rubbish.

@CamdenChristadelphia Amen good to see some one that actually studies the scriptures rather than their statement of faith. it is time to wake up people to the truth and come out of Babylon
rclamb04 1 year ago
@rclamb04 Studying or simple reading the Bible is not hard. It becomes complicated when you try to weave Pagan doctrine with the WORD of God.
We read in the Gospels that Jesus DIED for our sins, he gave up or sacrificed HIS LIFE for US. He is described as a MAN, Matt 1 gives his family tree.
In short he was a mortal man born of a woman by the Holy spirit.
Now watch a trinitarian try to simply tell that same story. To them Jesus is immortal so you can see the CONTRADICTION with the BIBLE

one does not serve the True God if one denies who He/They is, The Father, AND The Son, AND The Holy Spirit, the TRIUNE CREATOR.
"Let US make man in OUR image."
The LORD is an I as well as an US Being.
You serve a damnable false gospel that is leading you into eternal damnation if you reject the biblical doctrine of the Trinity/Triunity.
The "Jesus only" Trinity rejecting false cog gospel is a prophetic fulfillment of the falling away of the damned as warned of in the last days.

D) Since it is so 'central' why do you have to take a verse from one author and combine it with one from another author just to try and say that it is in the bible at all?
bandaidmafia 2 years ago
wow, ok well all those words you mentioned were obviously in English, the Bible was not originally English.

No one has ever seen God. The only Son, who is truly God and is closest to the Father, has shown us what God is like. John 1:18

16And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? 17And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.
I liked your video, I believe in the trinity, but this is an example of one rebuke, What are your thoughts?
wealththinkers 3 years ago
There is no rebuke here.
Jesus did not say that he wasn't God or that he wasn't good.
He's merely asking the guy why he called him good?
He was probing into the man's thought process to get at his true motives and intentions. Notice in his next response he no longer called him good.
This shows that he didn't want to give Jesus full credit as deity, which is in direct opposition to Peters testimony of "You are the Christ!".
And, of course, Jesus approved of Peter's claim.

I have at least 17 scriptures that justify why the Trinity is a required doctrinal belief of a true Christian. This does not include a large number of Binitarian verses that speak of the Father and the Son. Think of One "what" with three "Whos". The Father, Son and the HOly s
