New Kindle 3 FAIL - SCREEN BROKEN!

Do NOT buy any Amazon Kindle, this is my 5th replacement in a year and Amazon change it without complaining. it is a clear proof that they know that their product is deeely flawed

unfortunate problem--I just found my 3rd kindle in a row has this problem. Basically if you put any pressure on the screen, it destroys it. Unfortunately I'm out of warranty now.

Soething similiar just happened to me, but ive had my kindle since may of 2011, so i wouldnt call it new. anyone have an idea on how to fix it?

I bought a kindle 3 and now am in Japan. Its only 2 months old and the screen or part of the screen seems to have the screen saver burnt in. Same shit as this. What should I do? Can I fix it myself?

I've had my kindle since december and just randomly I went to go wake up my kindle and it has a bunch of lines on the screens and some of the picture that was on it while it was in sleep mode. I've tried eveything and amazonsupport isn't helping much any ideas on what I can do?

@krystallkitty yeah i called them and right away they said "we're going to send you a new one...." then i asked if there was any chance it would go back to normal before i got the new one and they said "theres no chance, sorry"

but the plus side is that they sent the new one really fast, i got it a day after! haha oh well =/

Contacted customer services and they managed to get me a new one in two days :D

I received my Kindle two days ago (29 September) and had the same problem :( I sent it right back, they told me that because of their policy or something they can't send me a new one right away and I'll have to wait until 6 October...

I've had mine almost a week. No breaks yet, yet I do have tiny chips in the screen. I'm going to Home Depot and get a piece of plexiglass, and cut it into the shape of a screen cover!
