Sadly, some people cannot understand that "art" gives you a poetic license...the tune and lyrics are a description of either personal and/or allegorical experiences that lead an individual into sin...the lyrics clearly show a repentant heart in reference to the experience...EVER READ PSALM 51?! I recommend reading the Gospels of Jesus Christ (John chapter 4) that show the Messiah reaching out to sinners in their own context...and witnessing at a bar (doing a performance) is doing just that!
