Okay this sounds like a dumb question but I really need to know, I have 4 separate accounts, this one, my sister's and two deadwood accounts, if I close one of the channels I want to delete would my other channels be affected?

@Superhelden91 It shouldn't really because each account was created with a seperate email account and upon creation they each have a seperate Google account, I doubt seriously that closing down one account would affect the others and their Google account, in fact closing a YouTube account doesn't affect the Google account anyway. So you should be fine, I'd be very surprised if you lose all your accounts just for deleting one.

For all those that get the notification: error, reload the page...

You probably will have to let the account sit idle for at least one week, then you SHOULD be able to close your account. I was getting error message at first, but after a week of non use, i was able to close it down. I hope this helps you, cause i see this problem on a few videos.

Closing your account isn't permanent. You can always re-apply to have it re-opened.
