  • Great video. Found our babysitter through our church. We know her and her parents. They also live close to our house so if anything happens she has back-up close by.

  • I live in an area where there are mostly single moms with grade-school and middle-school children that me and a few of my friends from the volleyball team babysit and because we're all tall athletic girls (I'm 6'1") the mothers just love to call us to help them with their kids, I mostly babysit a woman's four boys from my nighborhood aged 8-16 and I just love the expression on the boys faces when they see their mom greets me with a kiss in the mouth and when she sits on my lap ;)

  • a good sitter is obviously someone you must be able to trust with your most precious of things, your children dvd players can be replaced i usually have my sister baby sit for me and the good thing is no charge all i have to give her is the local take away menu job done!!

  • when I was a babysitter in my teens I had to deal with a lot of 'creepy' dads , that doesn't seem to have changed .Later when I was a nanny prefessionally I learned quickly how nannies are treated as second class citizens with no rights , I used to wish there was a nanny union , is there now?
