Mkay, I generally like Micheal Moore, but this is a little offensive. It started out good, but then just got out of hand. Yes, mistakes are made, but there is no need to make it seem like all Police Officers are stupid...Micheal Moore, this is just disrespectful.
We watched this in school. And it really pissed me off that these cops assumed that those simple, harmless items were guns! Really. The film was humerous although.
ANyone who thinks police are bad are usally CRIMINALS...proven fact..BLACKS are likely to shoot people more than anyone..look at the prison..CRACK DEALERS...BLACKS love that shit...
People who are in a situation where they could get SHOT should not have anything in their hands...DUH...
@OhwhataCruise2 If there are a disproportionate number of black people in prison, it's not because they are committing most of the crimes, it's because they are far more likely to be low-income, which means that you are at the mercy of the overworked, undercaring public defenders office for your defense. Also, historically it's been proven time and again that the U.S. court system has an ugly history of judges who give FAR harsher sentences to black defendants than equivalently-charged whites.

Just because a couple of police made a terrible mistake doesn't mean other polices have to take the bullshit they're putting up. Some police risk their lives everyday and actually doing a great job.
@blowout60 The cops dont stop those thing from happening, cops thwart less then 1% of crimes. They usually show up after and take a useless report. Where I live you are required by law to own a gun and ammo. Our crime rate dropped to the lowest in the country. We have been able to reduce our police force as a result. Compare that to cities that have banned guns and you will see that police are not the answer, we are.
@DanceRooster an Arrest doesn't stop the crime -_- its the intimidation factor that does. Most people who would commit crimes, do not, for fear of being sent to jail. And if everyone in your town is required to posses a firearm, clearly criminals now have them and it comes down to a "who has a bigger gun" (a very stupid law). A police force is necessary to reduce crime and to arrest and detain those who commit them. Not a responsibility that should be forced upon its citizens.

A terrible mistake would be shooting someone once because they pulled out something resembling a gun. What these guys did was not only make sure this guy was dead but also made sure his family probably couldn't even identify him. 41 shots vs. 1 shot is a pretty big difference. I'm sure it takes a lot less than 41 shots to realize the guy was carrying a wallet not a gun.
Excellent video this kind of shit happens all the time. When I lived in the Bronx kid got shot because he had a orange squirt gun in his hand. Again since he was black the officer was held "unaccountable" and "justified"
