i have a sample loaded into redrum.. but it won't stop looping. like the sample plays continuously once initiated. do you know how to stop this?

@byrne300 The way I would handle that is plug the sampler (which can play .wav files) into the sequencer.

Thanks for the video. I am remixing a beat in realtime and would like to know how I could do a second track in DR:Rex. When I try, I hear nothing from the 2nd track and only clicking on the original DR:Rex track will it play. I should mention that track 1 has a different .rx2 file than track 2.

how do you change tempo?

If you have recycle- you need to set the the number of bars that the loop you are playing is- to indicate the tempo of the file. Then you click preview- in recycle, then you change the tempo.

OK so its the loop markers.. in my case they where slaved from logic and kept together.. make sure they are far apart.. and it will add them into the loop region.. mashing the mouse didnt work...

if you chose a loop from the dr. rex, then when u send it to the track it should show up on your sequencer between the loop and repeat indicators....

if u want to sync in tempo just quantize everything. right-click on the section you want to quantize in the arrangement grid and select "quantize notes"

how do u get 2 dr rex samples to sync in tempo??????????

i think they have a play rate which displays in the box if u have 2 different dr rex loops that are different playback rate it will not work u will have to manually alter the transpose. but some are the same for eg. "ass shake" found in chemical beats file and "berliner" found in music loops try those 2 they will automatically sync however u play them
