For me this is successful because he is singing in part patwa part english. As a Jamaican I like to hear patwa in my Jamaican music, my friends listen to English reggae but I cant get into it, I need to hear the sweet sound of patwa to get me in the vibe! :-) I think this is why Gentleman is sucess in Jamaica among Jamaicans. BIG UP YOURSELF Gentleman!
