I'm looking at getting one in a few months. I take it that all Pioneer Premier AVIC-F90BT that ship now come with the Software update already in the box? Or is it already installed? I'm also lost, can you set the color of the unit? I have seen so mnay videos of this unit. Some had red lighting around the buttons others,Green,blue and so on.?

The only problem with the AVIC is stupid peolple that dont read the operator manuel before playing with the stereo If this tard had read the manuel he would have seen you can shut off the vr which is for updating from the ipod and the system would have been totally up and running faster but he is like alot of others and has not a freaken clue

The AVIC-F90BT is the Pioneer Premier series which comes with a 2-year warranty as opposed to the 1-year warranty.

f90 is just like your personal gps nav. but in bigger version, and it doesn't support dvd or cd. Not like f900 it got the whole nine yard.

the only difference between the F90 and F900 is the F90 comes with the Ipod adaptor.

This is a great nav unit, unfortunetly this guy makes it look clumsy and slow. The new updated version boots a lot faster although I doubt this guys unit is operating any better. Please take this video down or make a new one, you are imbarassing the stereo world. If you would like I can send my 10 year old over and have him show you how to use your nav unit or even make your next video. Kenwood thanks you for all the buisness you sent thier way due to your wounderful AVIC video demo.

is it normal that this navigationsystem needs 30 seconds to startup?? that's quite a lot...what if you want to listen radio? do you have to wait 30 second until it's ready?

The Pioneer F series is Micosoft CE OS based and it does take some time to boot up. 30 seconds isn't that long just show some patience. I remember my fathers 4 year old Garmin taking almost 2 minutes to be fully ready.
