  • Brazilians lack cultures. What a bunch of uneducated group of people. Perhaps they should stay in Brazil.

  • low level brazilians

    shut the fuck up

  • rude Brizilians

  • don't make light of someone who is apologizing, even if it's his formal duty. these people are embarrassing the manager to the extreme and they are so dense that they aren't even aware of it. it's no wonder a growing number of Japanese businesses have a 'no foreigners' policy. thanks for screwing it up for the rest of us who respects Japanese culture.

  • Stupid brazilians.

  • Bowing, thats in their nature. Its not "giving respect". Its called "sucking up".

  • I have respect for the manager but not for these laughing idiots around him. He just wanted to be nice and he gets laughed out? That´s a shame. If you can´t say something in japanese then open your fucking dictionary book and search for "it´s ok" and "thank you".

  • @HerrKanzler69 but she has been saying 'it's ok' in japanese all along...don't you know the least bit of japanese?

  • I'm from Brazil as well. You guys made it worse by pointing it out he was apologizing. A simple "daijoubu" and ignoring the issue would suffice.

  • Gotta say I have respect for the Japanese traditions

  • Bow that was embarrassing to watch. Stupid gaijins... again... Makes me feel like I shouldn't be here either.

  • OK you Brizilians did the most stupid thing I have seen, you made the poor manager look like a clown, you should have accepted his forgiveness and left it at that, but no you have to make him look like a toy. Talk about stupid gaikokujin in Japan.

  • Wow. This does look pretty rude. The man was trying to be nice. I hope you didn't put this video out trying to make him look stupid. If you did, it backfired.

  • It's like you are trying to make fun of him, he was just apologizing.

    You are all disrespectful.

  • gadam that was so wrong, no reason to humiliate him like that

damn thats so wrong its on another level

  • This is disgusting. How can you people act like this? Japanese people are very polite and you decided to make a fool out of him. If youre going to act like this, go to Denny's..

  • they should not make fun and laugh at him,he is polite enough to come and appologise for the mistake, they should accept his appology, saying that its quite all right ,and thank him for appologising, thats the reason he stayed there for such a long time, they did not accept his appology, they make him look a fool and insulted him, surley when people visit a country like Japan, they should learn a little about the culture there.

  • @davebournemouth You have right, but they maybe didn't know what he did do there... They maybe where there on a vacition and can't really understund japanese, and many in japan can't speak or understund diffuicult english. Sometimes they don't really understund english.Wich is sad (T-T) And they (the ppl) Maybe thinked it was a suprise (wich i can understund) And they did do wrong. And you have right, if you maybe is going to Japan, learn how they do and little about theys Cultur

  • @Kirari1997 Thank you for your reply,I have been to Japan 10 times, everytime has been a wonderful expereince for me,everyone was so helpfull, even the police took me home when I got lost ! theres so many things to learn, how many times should I bow? and so on,just like me,these people were visitors to your country, and they behave like that ! also they even make recording of it,I am ashamed,if you ever come to my country (England) I hope you will get the same wonderful welcome as me in Japan.

  • why the hell they are making fun since this is the standard of any Japanese business on doing any mistake or giving a respect why such people make fun of those who are trying there best towards services.

  • Br's are annoying lol.

  • Now im not really sure what the jumping jacks meant, maybe they were trying to encourage him?

  • Its not really making fun of lifestyles, get over yourselves. They said it was okay and that the guy is fine. So stop bowing and go. Its not respectable anymore its irritating.

  • Comment removed

  • Me as a Brazilian feel a bit embaresed on how the brazilians handled the situation. Doing those jumps and yelling stuff in portuguese probably scared the guy shitless!!

Nevertheless people shoudn't hate so much on comments, it doesn't meen there a bunch of dumbfucks and that foreigners shoudn't be allowed! It's just a matter of the brazilians, in this case, being ignorant about japanese culture, and the huge cultural difference between japan and brazil.

  • @Rubenozorio Brasillian women are SO fuckable. I love their BIG HUGE TITS and ROUND ASS and their scanty ass clothes.

  • @anythingnew It's because you haven't met my aunt claudia...

  • @Rubenozorio What happen if I do meet her?

  • The poor guy! He really needs to lighten up a bit. What a great group to try to make him feel better, but it probably confused him. :D

  • Everyone!

This has absolutely nothing to do with being Japanese

It has something to do with this Japanese guy 's PERSONALITY

He looks dead serious and naive and you think that ALL Japanese rest manager behave like him ? I think not,

This is a total misrepresentation of what the Japanese rest manager would actually do, usually this is what happens, they tell the waitress to go back to the customers and apologize again but ONLY comes out IF customers demands to see me otherwise ignore them

  • the waitress is FUCKED!...or fired, either one would suck

  • This is so kind, we all need to learn how to be real polite. We should take this as an example.

  • Wow what a total bunch of imbeciles. They say American's have a bad rap overseas; these Brazilians have completely humiliated themselves.

  • Clash of cultures. In Japan, everything is dead serious. What else can you expect from a country where people had their heads cut off for their disrespect by samurais and where people had to commit suicide for losing the world war? Those Japanese mean business and are dead serious. Brazillians are the total opposit. Laid back culture where everything can be ok, let's get over it attitude. They just misunderstood each other. Besdies, the Brazilian lady kept saying "It is OK" in Japanese.

  • @UnitedKorean Righto. Maybe the manager was a bit uptight compared to others, but it's definitely a great scene of cultural interaction. The formal Japanese guy visably shuddered as the boisterous Brazillians tried to make him feel better with a little dance. He'd probably never been hugged so much in his life! I hope they all became good friends...

  • This is why foreigners have a bad rep in Japan -.- Their disrespectful idiots.

  • @PeircedinBlood They weren't disrespectful.

  • @PeircedinBlood Not really....

  • Japan should ban foreigners

  • Do you realize how rude and inappropriate you all were? Not just to the manager, but to to Japanese culture? Bowing is a sign of politeness, it's called having manners, clearly something all of you lack. You're supposed to bow down back, you don't laugh, you don't clap, or just bow down to ridicule the person.

    Bunch of idiots, I swear.

  • Comment removed

  • i'm latin american, and this makes me feel embarrassed. the non-japanese (don't know if they are all brasilian) are acting so immature and do not display any cultural sensitivity. I honestly do not think they realize how rude they are. they think it's funny and probably do not want to offend anyone, but....they are rude and offensive! :(

  • @m4paz

Thanks for your comments. You have the right attitude, and I hope you visit Japan one day.

Just don't be like these idiots from this video.

  • this is shamefull how can they laugh poor guy am disgusted by thier behaiver japanese are so polite i dont think he felt good after this poor guy

  • busaiku brasilian

  • I think it is extremely rude of them to laugh and essentially ridicule the manager like his apology meant nothing. He probably kept bowing more than he needed to because they were sort of made the situation worse by treating it humourously. The correct way to proceed is to be polite to politeness.

  • @CharlieHuang Bowing fifty million times isnt really respectable anymore, its irritating. You're suppose to be servicing food. Bow like ten times and then leave,

  • @DarPower1 Yes but if they stopped taking the piss and laughing at him then he would probably not have bowed so much and it would have ended sooner. Their behaviour exacerbated it by not understanding what's going on.

  • @CharlieHuang I highly doubt that, if your actions appear to be mocked, even if they really arent, then common sense says to stop. This isnt cultural, this is universal. The equivalent is if somebody wouldnt stop shaking my hand. And i start laughing. Common sense says; 'Stop doing that', Now the person doesnt know what i'm really thinking, but obviously laughter isnt a form of anger. So pick yourself up like the guy said, and do your job.

  • Okay stop bowing and stop fucking around with him

  • The first lady looked like she was trying to tell him its okay. At least, patting/rubbing someone's hand is a way of saying "No worries!"

  • lol. sorry, could not stop laughing ^^

  • those people are so unbelievable... they act like they are being entertained. and their japanese is very informal "dai jou bu ne" very bad.

  • come on man, pull yourself together. Is it typical of the japanese culture to give away your own dignity so easily??

  • No respect in western so they don even love their parents. Fuck

  • @tcsephel They are brasilian

  • what the fuck these people doing? kick those black ugly people out of Japan.

  • @tcsephel Um, with all the black american influance i dont see your point

  • Disrespectful und disgusting. Very sad. Makes me very angry and ashamed for the western culture.

  • i feel sorry for the manager :( it's like they're making fun of him

  • 0:18 wtf that old guy punching the poor server is asking to be pwned by japanese sumo wrestlers

  • foreigners shouldnt laugh at this, he is asking for forgiveness, just sit, shut the fuck up and let him finish. fuckn foreigners go back to your dirty smelly ass country

  • @nttskittles Fine, then they can go back to a better country LOL

  • As a big fan of Japanese culture, I find this very sad. They went to Japan, they should have learned Japanese way before their vacation. Japan is a nice country. I cant go there because its very expensive. But these people, they have the opportunity and money to go there and they are just ruining it. its so wrong.

  • if im the owner, i kick them off rather earning their single cent ! A damn stupid real bastard foreigners.. pls respect back as ppl respecting u as customer. pretty but damn ASSHOLE!!

  • they made the situation so much worse

  • Disgusting behaviour from idiotic, ignorant cunts.

  • I am deeply embarrassed at the lack of respect shown by this group of foreigners in Japan. I am most shocked by how they all started bowing with the manager towards the end of the video, at one point, mussing up his hair. Such behavior is simply inexcuseable. No wonder there are a some restaurants in Japan who won't allow foreigners in. With behavior like that, who can blame them.

  • Ok, I think this was simply a clash of culture BUT....

If you're going to visit/live in a foreign country, at least bother to know the basics. A "gaijin" can be forgiven for not getting it exactly right but these foreigners weren't even trying to respond in a Japanese way.

The end result...it embarrasses me as a foreigner living in Japan myself.

Uploading it to YouTube only furthers the insult to the Japanese IMHO.

  • wth you doing?? lol

  • the thing rude here is just the fact that this video IS uploaded. hope this will be deleted as soon as possible.

  • I agree with you. I think they meant well, but showing this video and humiliating him to the whole world is rude.

  • Comment removed

  • This manager is not typical Japanese. He is too timid.

  • In this situation, what is the correct response?

The Brazilian people in the video did not know the correct response and felt uncomfortable with the apologising.

They were saying "大丈夫、大丈夫" but is that enough?

How can you be polite in this situation to avoid offending or embarrassing the staff?

  • This manager apologies along a not particular manner. Much of Japanese workers of some kinds of server like this apology very seriously for a irreparable fault like this. This is the very Japanese manner. I think these Brazilian were surprised at this cultural difference.

  • They are not bad person or even rude with the manager, but its surprised and trying to make him better! Spilled shoyu in the womans pant, not a big deal :)

  • After watching your tokyocooney video I get the feeling that this is to show your dislike of foreigners.

But seeing this, I see that these people were extremely rude to the manager and I'm shocked by this.

These foreigners dont deserve to be in japan. I know if I was with a group of people who acted so badly I would quickly tell them to stop being so rude.

  • Show some fucking respect, he was being polite

  • though gray haired man laughs, that he continues preaching. so i think that his action is common.

  • shame on u..show some respect instead of laughing in front of him.

  • Shame on you guys. Show respect for another culture, not make fun of that. When U open your mind to live in another country, U should know that U have to learn each rules of RESPECT in each country, and not make FUN OF THAT. That's why the japanese's nationalist's wants Japan for Japaneses! Because of some gaijin's who make's fun of the culture and lifestyle. And WORSE, upload that kind of thing on YT!

  • I agree with you dude, and im a gaijin living in japan too i do what japanese do in here just to show respect with them

  • Brazilians are very poor.

    Therefore They are stupid.^^

  • @TheTakatin stupid opinion yours. You generalize all brazilians because of the mistake of some is VERY POOR OF YOU.

  • @TheTakatin That was extremely stupid

  • lol! harmless clash of culture.

  • Tipico brasileiro.

  • I question you as a japanese citizen.

why did you upload this crap footage?

I don't understand what your intention is.

    absolutely unfunny for us.

we won't let an insult like this slide.

we japanese can't put up with gaijin rudeness any more.

you should think about the importance of showing respect for foreign country.

    i think,you should delete this.

  • Aww..Shironbo, don't take it to heart! This just goes to show the politeness of the Japanese. I mean look...you have teh safest country IN THE WORLD. And it's people like this manager which make it so.

Also...I really disagree that this is "gaijin rudeness". It was just shocking for them to see such a thing. There is NOTHING like that in Brasil.

    Peace and Respect

Also...it may be offensive using "gaijin" instead of gaikokujin

  • @CapoeiraLifestyle What is the point of this comment? Sorry for my poor english, but I really don't understand...

  • I was just saying that shironbo7441 shouldn't be so upset.

I think the video shows how polite Japanese people can be. I don't think it is a negative video at all.

The Brasilians dancing around the manager was also an act of kindness..."to lighten up the situation and NOT make fun of him."

Also...shironbo's use of the word "gaijin" can be offensive to some foreigners...I think it's strange how he puts "gaijin and rudeness" in the same line.

I hope you can understand... :)

  • I simply Love Japanese Culture.Y making fun of a guy who is apologizing.

    Japanese ppl rock...

  • the scene of this kind should not be uploaded. Don't you imagine how Japanese people feel seeing this movie? Don't "observe" . Your view is like seeing an unusual animal or something.
