  • To the guy below - Your infatuation w/the artist's "female creepiness" is just based on America's Puritanical values. Patriarchy paints sex into prudish corners - Devolving it into prudish fears and pornography. The goddess (who smiles on All sex) is hidden beneath false masks. These fears, in turn, breed the very judgements and barriers which she is begging us to transcend in this film. The only way for human consciousness to evolve and end the slaughter. Go to Darfur. Open your eyes, Heart.

  • Saw the full length feature at SFAI last night - Great Film! Vanessa's husband Greg is the real artist in the relationship since he resisted realizing her perversion and maintained his position. People more readily identify the destructive behaviors of creepy men but this documentary vividly highlights a certain type of female creepiness that seems to get a free pass or a blind eye. I really like her art but Beecroft's a creep like her mom.
