It brings me such nice memories of a decade we have left behind -- those of us who were indeed teens in those days. We miss those years, we feel nostalgia for a time when things were simpler and when there was a truly defined teen culture.
I shall do everything that I have been able to live 80's in USA. I was born in 1993, but I remember living in 1995-1998 was much better than now .Commercials and music was much better than now, the outfit more interesting, people were different, everything was simpler and better. Now everything has changed (to the bad way). 80's and early 90's is my favorite time.People please return 80's!I hope the 80's come back..

This video and song speaks to my generation. At 43 I was a teen in the early eighties and the late seventies childhood memories did carry over and influence us. So the clips of Star Wars, Close Encounters etc., does have some merits in the context of this video. GREAT time capsule video well edited. Who sang this song?
the band is called "people like you", the album called "people like you " too, contain 15 good tracks in different style, with strog pop hits and warm ballads!!

wow!that was great (although some of them like Al Pacino , Sylvester Stallone , Ghostbusters or Terminator were not teens but men ...) but still ,you managed to gather so much movie and video material together and you edited it really good ! I LOVE the 80's!!!!!!!!
Even thought that would never happen, someone should start and bring something similar from the 80's back next decade 2010 b-4 it would suck even more than it already is. So next decade can be the new 80's but little bit different and better since everyone , and me, wants to go back so badly that for some reason no one is bringing it back so we should start now.

The musical style here ironically sounds more like late '70s disco (Unacceptable in the '80s!) than the synth '80s sound.
