  • You should put the compost and fertilizers under the weed barrier, because they could have weed seeds in them. Lime is unnecessary because microbes naturally "sweeten the soil". the ancient romans used to salt the earth with lime, don't waste your money compost is free. the presentation of the is exceptional great job

  • : )

  • fargin a.

  • How about the use of hydrated lime to accelerate the breaking down of the matter. Used for centuries in Europe. Sweetens the ph level of soil as well, naturally.

  • This is somthing I'd add just before the plant barrier.

  • This is great work Adam.

  • Thanks.

  • Good video man. The intro made me lol.

I have 4 fully grown long needle pine trees on a half acre with a natural horde of worms and rolie polies. They do all the work for me. My whole yard used to be clay. Now it can grow anything.

Another pro is that my horde will eat any scrap food I throw out there before it even starts to smell.

  • Sounds like some health and hungry soil! Is that white pine you have growing?

  • Hmm. No idea. Whatever grows naturally in the South Eastern US.

I might make a video response tomorrow.

  • Sweet!
