The graphics are certainly good enough to stand up to this kind of cinematic use, with their fancy high contrast, specular reflections, and whatnot. I've always thought filming a cinematic awesome Star Wars-esque battle would be cool with the game, showing two fleets engaging, with carriers, titans, fighters, etc., but the only problem I have is the non-cinematic explosion effects, i.e. missiles exploding directly in the center of the ship models.
