Umm...NONE of those people that he pardoned were ever IN his administration and sought to do what Libby did and not have any regret about it. All those pardons were done after jail time had been served.

You might want to check the precedents of Presidents who commuted sentences handed down by judges THEY appointed to people convicted of perjury and obstruction that protected members of that same President's administration.

There is the letter of the law but there is also a thing called the spirit of the law.

All colleges should start fall classes one day late. Some will get on board with this concept, perhaps two dozen. Have teach-ins on campus that day. Use the smart classrooms, have concise Powerpoint Presentations, not the bullhorn screaming on the steps of the administration building. Indoors - use the technology. Get the support of the faculty, incorporate the material into the course of study. I am not saying shut down the university, rather OPEN IT UP. This is about using our brains.

We need to center education around a mindset born to induce change for the better through knowledge of US's dark history and through exposure of successful strategies to revolt through grass root measures...
