  • I've always loved the graceful beauty of Hula. This makes me love it more.

  • Sounds like there was a horse at 0:23 ._.

  • estas viejas namas mueven los brasos sim acer nada mas

  • Shaka

  • Aloha :)

great dance, great dancers, beautiful costumes!

    ciao from italy :)

  • im watching at this woman second to the right, front row: she's smiling and she dances better than the rest of them ^^ but great performance! love hula

  • Beautiful performance!! I LOVE those dresses!! Christmas in Hawaii <3

  • I love this dance. It doesn't look very complicated (though I know it must be much harder than it looks) but it's very beautiful in its simplicity. Everything just moves so slowly and gracefully. I know this sounds kind of ridiculous, but it reminds me of the ocean. That's just my take on it. Wonderful, wonderful job.

  • Simply Just beautiful. Malo from Samoa. One love.

  • Very beautiful...I love ur outfits.very smooth

  • Wow... I wish I had the time to dance like that.... it's beautiful, and so meaningful...

  • Preciosa!

  • Fantastic dancing! From your distant Polynesian cousin, New Zealand.

  • The dancing was absolutely divine and beautiful that it looks like the art of the culture. Excellent work, I loved it.

  • Just watching these videos makes me miss dancing hula so much.

  • @TheRandomeGurl

i agree, such a beautiful culture and james cook came and basically took it all away.

i love my culture just ashamed that hula and luau's and such are pretty much only left for tourist.

i dont live in the islands anymore but i wish i did and i wish my dad didnt have to move to australia for work but hawaii and the culture is always in my heart.

    great job :)

  • @watugot1 It's talking about who King Kalakaua, the last King of Hawai'i and Queen Liliuokakalani his sister the last queen of Hawai'i, were and how they ruled all the Islands with love and grace...The last line "He inoa no Kalani Kalakau Kulele" means "Anamesong for the Chief Kalakaua" (btw I'm using my bf's account, I'm a girl so no I'm not matmatician lol)

  • I've watched lots of different interpretations to the same music, they are all beautiful. What do the words mean in English and is it possible to know the words by watching the hand gestures of the dancers. Forgive me if the questions seems ludicrous, I'm from Wales so we don't have Hula.

  • Learning this song for dance at school, its difficult, but sooo fun :) :)

  • beautiful !!

  • I love the dance soo much, it just hurt me to know that people that have been around the dance has no respect for the way other people have anew take on it. I mean if they don't like it, its thier fault. They shouldn't have to watch it. They can make thier own and be proud of how it should be done.

  • @Benasno98 hafadai! I think that's how to spell it, it's been so long since iv been to Guam. Are you dancing Hawaiian? Or are you dancing some other island dance?

  • they all move together so gracefully, just like one dancer <3

  • Every step a word every gesture a concept/sentence No other dance in the world compares!

  • What a beautiful dance! It makes me sad to know that such a beautiful culture is now lost. "Hula" and "Luau's" are just something for the tourists. damn that James Cook ruined one of the most special culture's of all time.
