can I use different sound card other than audio 8 and use the cdjs with it? I got motu ultra mk3. its got line in/out midi...8 channels... it would be kind to explain how to hook it up if its ok with you. cheers :)
Actually I think you can. I never tried using any other sound cards, but you can always give it a shot. There is an option in Traktor that lets you choose your external source.
Vinyl is a dead technology. Though I would love to use my control vinyls on a turntable. Yet, I don't have them. Don't really need them. But thanks for the tip :)

The record button is inside the software itself :)
It saves your recorded sets in a default directory (which you can change later on) and the files are saved as .wav

This is Traktor SCRATCH, and NOT Traktor 3.
There's a big difference.
In Traktor 3 you don't use any external hardware except for the mixer.

yes i know!! thats why i was asking if in traktor scratch u can only have 2 decks! cant u have 4 decks in scratch?
and by the way, for traktor 3 u can have external hardware for everything....with consoles!
