  • shouldn't the compressor be in the begin

  • tzitzikia malaka!!!!!

  • Victor Mallarino!

  • absolute shit tone.

  • I don't usually criticize but there's a first time for everything. IT SOUNDS AWFUL! (Sorry)

  • A video that convinced me to buy them all, fuck yeah

  • Wich is the best distortion pedal from boss for: rock and metal?

  • @kingmonster12 OS2 it has overdrive and Distortion at the same time, you can choose one of them or mix them just with a single nob

  • the hm-2 is the best metal pedal ever....everything is is garbage

  • Its from boss website, no wonder everything there is boss.

  • Electro Harmonix is the best!

Metal Muff is ok!! for any Metal style

  • You seem like a metal head version of Luke from modern family haha

  • for metal all you need is a tube amp, a tube screamer, and a wah, and maybe some noise suppesiors.

  • whats the song at 1:33?

  • are are just a parrot!!! saying the BOSS catalogue description!!! duh!! everywhwewe i see same description .....

  • "Ola,s'hoye Gary Lenairrre!"

Haha, the first time I saw him was in a vid. with a spanish voice-over.

He's in a NAMM stand,I think the channel is called RolandSouthAmerica,or something like that.Go check it out,it's funny!

    But eeh,...what's a flenger?

  • you sound like tony hawk

  • @chasedover Please don't insult Mr. Hawk...

  • BAHSS

  • @aldinni09 agreed!!!

  • Why does this dude his signal not become fucked with 6 non true bypass pedals?

  • I dont like the Metal core pedal because sounds like Nu metal or Modern School, The metal zone boss or heavy metal boss is my opinion for Old school sound and thats what i like

  • boss rules

  • Over processed and too saturated. Wet signal is just overbearing.

  • The lead effects you neen for metel are (Leaving out distortion) Harmonizer, Delay, Reverb, and Wah. Flanger is more for rythym guitar.

  • Spelling error in the title

  • REALY COOL!

  • Dream rack for my Bass:

Boss HM-2, Russian Big Muff Pi, And a Morley Power Wah.

Throw in a Mesa cab and some 2x12's, maybe a 3x18...

You really wouldn't need anything else.

  • my dream rack/setup

    electroharmonic metal muff,nady UHF-4 wireless (x2),boss dd-7,boss ns-2 noise supressor,morley aby amp switcher,ibanez ts-9 tube screamer,digitech whammy,orange thunderveb 200w full stacks (x2),bbe sonic maximizer,boss tu-3 tuner,boss ge-7 eq,h20 chorus,bigshot EFX effects loop,boss accustic simmulator

  • i wanna bye boss products but they are expensive

  • @lord2468vader22 ineed they are but dead worthit

  • distortion he has :)

  • LOL tone

  • Yeah man good to see gary still jamming

  • the BEST DISTORTION PEDAL IS BY FAR THE METAL MUFF

  • i play progressive stuffs like symphony X , dream theater etc .... i'm planning to buy some metal padals which will go well with these stuffs specially with symphony X .... can any1 suggest me which padals will be suitable for me ? thnx .

  • dont listen noobs ho use metal muffs, use the metal zone, best pedal ever if u dont believe me go and try the metal zone

    for sure

  • ? xD use mt2

  • @slashandmustainerox sounds so thin and sterile by comparison.

  • Boss HM-2 Ftw?

  • well the MT-2 is a very high frequency pedal, it makes your solos and lead stick out but for rhythm i would go for the ML-2, but your solos and leads wont sound all that grate, what i would go for is a bedal with top boost like the metal muff from electro harmonix, coz then you can keep a rhythm sound and just tap in the top boost to make your leads and solos stand out more, and in bands like that you use alot of solos but you dont what your rythm sound to be all weak.

  • @JessyDevilVendetta try ml2 with mxr zakk wylde overdrive like a boost, sounds great

  • @braulio9511 Hey bro, nah i was just making an exsampl for someone who askt. I use the MXR Fullbore metal, gives me tons of distortion but it dosent sound like bee's trying to escape a hive:P. Try it yourself cuz the demos hear on youtube dose not do it justis

  • mmmh metalzone, ps5 supershifter, a crybaby wah, and if you like looping, Line6 DL4 Loop Sampler ;)

  • if you gonna be heavy you don't need a digital pedal distorsion.. but a real valves distorsion!!!!

  • i dont really like boss' metal pedals. i like the MXR fullbore metal pedal heapsssssss more.

  • Does anyone know if this BCB-60 pedal board will power a Dunlop Crybaby Wah Original?

    Thanks!

  • yes it will but u need to take a pocket knife and trim down the plastic around the dc adapters. ive been doin it for a while.

  • Ah, I got it. But I got it to work if I pressed real hard into it and it worked :D thanks for the response.

  • if u wont to be heavy, go with the orignal, not boss

  • If only Boss would do what they say : Go with the original. Each year they make even more horrible pedals and discount the good ones.

  • @DedeAsPsichas Uhu....just bought a NOS FZ-3.

  • The end wasnt that bad. But seriously they make half ass pedals, and they make them sound horrible. MT-2 classic between metalheads??Well yeah..its a classic push over

  • @DedeAsPsichas there only expensive because they put it in a "pretty" box. from the MT-2 I can only get classic distortion sounds out of it. definetly not for heavy metal though

  • who the hell wants flanger for metal? i mean come on. could you be any more retarded.if you want metal, you have to harmonize wtf is this guy talking about? he doesn't know shit

  • Death, idiot?

  • @DedeAsPsichas Your not going to use it like he does. It doesn't sound good at all. This guy only cares about the metal core and doesn't give a shit what the other pedals sound like.

That flanger doesn't even sound good and you know it. He probably doesn't even know what death metal is.

  • oh come on.. flanger? delay? If I had those pedals i'd just turn the dist to max, tune down to fucking z or whatever and just destroy :)

  • That is a great setup for metal, but gary lenaire SUCKS!!! The only thing he likes is the metal core, and he don't even know what to be "heavy" is :s "If you wanna be heavy, you got to harmonize"; WRONG! "If you want to play real british heavy metal without any friends to harmonize with you, use the PITCH SHIFTER!". To be really heavy has NOTHING to do with harmonizing :s

  • If you want to be heavy you have work.

  • for those of you that are not in the know use the efects loop on your amps for your modulations and delays, put your noise reducer and your distortions and gains in front of the amp by going through the input channel.

  • The BEST AND ABSOLUTELY BEST METAL PEDAL that boss has made but they fucking discontinued making it,which really sucks is:

The HM-2 Heavy Metal pedal>>>>>>>>>metal core pedal!! Enuff said.

  • " If you gonna be heavey, you gonna harmonize"???!!!

    Fuck that metalcore faggot!!!!!

  • Withthe ds-1 it does work for metal its just more of a lead tone instead of crushing thing

but for solos still use mt-2 and ml-2 haha

  • does it make a diffrence of what order they are in like if the NS-2 was first in line would that mess up his tone?

  • yes. noise reduction comes after overdrive/distortion/fuzz effects, and before things like delay, chorus and flanger.

  • Nice demonstration... but if my distortion sounded like that.... I'd stop playing. :-)

  • Nice said :)

  • Fucking metalcore faggot!!!!!

  • i cant figure out why people dont just buy a line 6 amp.

  • because the line 6 amps are good but they are almost like a computer they have so many effects and thats not so good a good amp is one of tubes tube amps are the best and they dont have so many effects like line 6 so if you use a tube amp or a valve amp you will need to buy each effect like that pedalboard so it gives you a true tone and sound not a fake one like the line 6 amps

  • hmm thanx i like your answer, it was very thorough..i had always wondered about why no1 bot line 6 amps

  • Because people like more versatility while playing live.

And if your talking about a Spider, they are complete garbage.

  • Distortion and delay are the main ones you'll need. The noise suppressor comes in handy if you ever play live, and if you do solos you'll want a good wah too. Flangers are so overdone they're almost cliche. Basically anything other than those first four will only be used on certain songs because they get old fast. I just use the distortion, reverb and delay I get out of my Line 6 and a Cry Baby wah. With the right amp you won't even need any effects pedals unless you play live.

  • what ibanez is he playing???

  • That's right. Core, heavy, blistering metal. xD

  • Apparently he forgot about the HM-2.

  • I thought they dont make those any more

  • They don't.

  • you look like some tv type discovery or sumthing :P

  • Hello Than songs touch?? They sound quite well!!

  • sounds like a big pile of shit. omfg.

  • Absolutely ! One Metal Zone or Metalcore is enough for playing metal. All those effects are useless.

  • but i think the dd-6 and the ns-2 will come in handy.

  • That kicks ass!

  • he forgot a harmonizer

  • uhh the super shifter is a harmonizer. Did you not watch the whole video? He plays a harmonized part starting at 3:15

  • I can't see how the flanger's good... It only anoys me

  • must be an acquired taste :S

  • price?

  • Inbetween $1500 and $1700 Australian Dollars for everything in that video brand new.

  • Hey! Thanks for the info dude! but quite expensive...:(

  • All good man.

    You a guitarist ?

It is quite expensive, but once you get the hang of using it all, its really worth it.

  • guitarist? 50-50 i think... im a noob that just gettin started... anyway i have strat... but i dont know use it yet...

  • hey dude

we mustnt forget that wah pedal is a must for a metalhead yeah?

so where is your wah pedal. iwish there was cybaby against the ml2. Cuse mt2 is enough for everything. and against flanger there should be a tube screamer. youe suck dude you cusk. this is numetallers poor pedal . take care

  • That is not me playing the guitar. That's just a man presenting the Boss Heavy Metal Pedalboard BCB-60. The video is taken from Boss official site

  • he should have had the boss aw-3 dynamic wah on his pedalboard

  • @dineyj46 ew go with a real wah pedal

  • @capudicapi

Dude, the only thing that sucks is your stupid comment. What you need to play metal are a guitar, an amp and a talented player! :P

  • if you have money you can do everything

  • Doesn't the boss dd-2 also have steoro/

  • Do you have a pedal that will make me grow a mullet like that? Boss Mulletmaster? Mullet Core, perhaps?

  • um thats not really a mullet.

  • dudes if this shit works on a jc 120 it wil work on any fckn amp common its a fckn jazz amp

  • What does delay flanger and chorus have to do with metal? He's just trying to sell pedals to kids that don't know any better, well don't believe it. Guys, metal guitar is better without drowning it in effects.

  • uhm deathgrind1 dude im a metal bass player and i even use those effects ALOT!!!! so yeah on guitar definately. btw morbid angel uses the flanger as well soooooo.....

  • He's totally using too much number one, and trey uses flanger on like a riff every now and then. You have to admit, this dude is just trying to sell pedals you don't need.

  • yeah i admit that hes a salesman thats his job i am just dealing with the fact that you said its not metal

  • It's not metal, it's faggotry, you're a fat homo you know nothing of metal cake boy.

  • hay douchebag theres no need for that shit okay and i am in a metal band you fucking fag DEATH METAL!!!! ohh yeah and i use those effects

  • Not really, it depends on what type, like in thrash there's a lot of clean things, and I would use all 3 of those (I like delay solos).

  • Wow, Clean? You're way too metal for me.

  • im wondering will the board work woth a randall v2 ninja amp

  • Guys this works with every amplifier!!!

  • this guy is awesome

    :)

  • I'm pretty sure it's an ibanez s470

  • looks like paul gilberts reverse iceman

  • lol that looks nothing like an iceman. the iceman has a completely different body and headstock. It's an RG prestige. I can't tell the exact model but yeah.

  • oh must've been his damn black clothes confusified me

  • will this work with a marshall mg?

  • no lol

  • common sense ain't so common eh? hahahahaha!

  • the guitar in the background, is that the Roland and MT-2, 4:29 sec. ?

  • I don't know the amplifier that he is using, but his guitar is Ibanez (I am not sure of the model)... And the pedal he is using at 4:29 sec. it's Metal Zone - MT 2 (as you said)

  • roland jc-120

  • this is very helpful thanks for putting it on

  • You're welcome
