Nice to see.thanks. I knew the man ,John Cole ,who found this engine at Martock,then presented it to Petters. It was thought by making these engines Petters woke up to the fact that Steam was so grossly inefficient in all ways and woke up yo the fact that some thing better could be offered.
Nah - chuck the old lump in the skip and get a nice shiny new electric motor! ;-))
