  • I found this after watching "Food Inc", I work in IT, and the parallels with software patents compared to patented seed are there. Just like you can't patent 2 + 2 = 4, the concept of pirating seed is ridiculous. because of the way nature works, HE MAY become an accidental 'pirate' and it's the onus is him to remove GM seed? ridiculous. Wind makes him a IP pirate? IP law in general causes way more problems than it solves.

  • Why are you posting comments in youtube? Armed with this information what Jury would convict you for demolishing these Monsanto Buildings? You owe it to your children to TAKE THEM OUT.

  • He admits pirating seed. This has been against the law since laws were written in most states.

    That is stealing folks.

Why are you supporting a thief?

    Les

  • Thanks Greenpeace Australia for making this video. Moe Parr is an important symbol of the struggle ongoing against the giant "M". I live in central Indiana and will be hearing Moe speak about his experience in a few weeks. I'm told his message will include a summary of his struggles with M, but he moves on to concentrate on the subjects of sustainable living and local food. I'm looking forward to his talk.

  • I simply cannot fathom how a seed is now a "Product"... we have become a truly twisted race of animals driven by greed and fear.

  • this is horrible. We have to unite and stop this monstor. I just googled organic seeds and found a lot of sites to order from. You can find one of the sites that have the organic seeds and double check with them personally if they are indeed Non G. modified.

Be sure and post this video on Facebook and other public sites.

  • Its okay. They will pay their price when the day comes.

  • americanseedsllcdotcom/

  • GOOOD GRIEFFFF!!!! LOL

  • call kellogs, call kraft, call General Mills and ask them to make non gmo foods like they do for people in the EU.. I call and send emails ALL the time.`

  • I dont buy gmos. I even saw american seed company selling seeds in walgreen and didnt buy them cuz monsanto owns the comp. I dont even go to fast food but maybe 3 times a year, and only if I forgot to pack my own food.

  • @lisakaylanemorris -

The seed packets (5 for $1) at walgreens ARE NOT Monsanto seed.

The seed company that markets that seed is Northrop King and it is owned by Syngenta.

It would be so easy to check your facts, but is easier to just blame everything on Monsanto isn't it.

    Les

  • @CouldNotCareLes i called the ph number for american seed company and i got a ladys voice mail.. said this is cheryl (or what ever her name was.) with monsanto.. TRUE! american seed company.. I did look it up. I dont blindly follow, I do research.

  • @CouldNotCareLes if I made a mistake. I apologize there is an American seed company and there is American seeds. One of them belongs to Mnsanto I know because I called. I believe the American seeds llc is monsantos.

  • @lisakaylanemorris - the 5 for a dollar packets are NK seed (Syngenta)

    I like your phone story.

When you lie, you damage your credibility Lisa.

Why would Monsanto be selling any corn with Herculex full plant protection?

    Herculex is a Dow product.

    Les

  • @CouldNotCareLes LES! I am not lying. There is a American Seed CO and there is a American Seed LLC. and there is a American Seed INC. If I got them mixed up it was due to how the names are the same.. I may be some things , but a liar is not one of them

  • @lisakaylanemorris

the 5 for a $ are Syngenta's NK seeds and the other sells seed with Herculex technology.

I don't care what any internet source says, neither company is owned by Monsanto.

    Les

  • btw did you know Greenpeace is suing Dow chemical because Dow sent spies into Greenpeace office and they stole documents, tapped their phones and hacked into their computers. and Les look it up, this is not an untrue blog. Dow chemical has many chemical pesticides, herbicides and gmos.

  • Here is a blog in part done by a plant pathologist in the field for 35 years. SDS and SSD are spreading and its due to RR.. also take action here to stop GE alfalfa... go to responsibletechnologydotorg and read the Jan 2011 blog on plant diseases. So far there is only one blog in Jan, so its not hard to find..>LOL. you can sign the petition against GE alfalfa there

  • monsanto does not own blackwater...xe... monsanto hired them in 2008-2009

  • @lisakaylanemorris Still, why did they hire a security contractor? And one that is infamous for murdering innocent people without any incident reports, legal infractions or court martials in Iraq and Afghanistan?

  • @jayone451 monsanto hired them becuz monsanto is a greedy power hungry company. I am not for big ag.!!

  • @lisakaylanemorris They were a chemical company way before they got into Agriculture.....There still responsible for deaths and deformed babies being born on Vietnamb.

  • @jayone451 - the manufacturers of the other components of Agent Orange and the military who hauled it over there and sprayed it are exempt from responsibility?

    Les

  • What was the survey about? Can have i have a link for the information?

And if your defending your industry as an American farmer should you being sticking up for a company that wants to control, bully and intimidate private farmers and countries into growing GMO garbage?

    Jay

  • @jayone451 - I don't know, but they certainly do not own Xe.

How does Monsanto 'bully and intimidate private farmers'?

Farmers grow GMO varieties because they require less inputs and yield more grain.

I know you have many internet sources (and probably a few YouTube videos) that claim otherwise, but I prefer to believe real life over some ignorant blogger.

    Les

  • @CouldNotCareLes Well for one they created terminator seeds and put a copyright on Genitically modified plants. Now if "their plant" were to get in my crops or anyone elses. then they could be tooken to court. Big companies have a whole legal department but private farmers risk financial catastrophe if they try to fight the lawsuit legally. And no i didnt hear this from blogs i know farmers in CA. Not to mention Xe contracts and the Food safety modernization act wich Monsanto's co-wrote,

    Jay

  • @jayone451 - no one has developed or marketed 'terminator' seed.

If you propegate their seed, you have violated state seed law as well as federal patent law.

If you don't propegate their seed, you have broken no law.

Monsanto is not interested in suing innocent farmers.

The 147 farmers who ran into trouble over ten years ago risked financial catastrophe because they had no case.

Any farmer, and any reasonable person could see what had happened.

Jay, your post is classic internet myth.

    Les

  • @CouldNotCareLes Ok you win GMO's are harmless and i will blindly believe anything a corporation that made Agent Orange says.... even though they signed a deal with the Pentagon to spray A known poisonous chemical over the jungles of Asia. Wich was sprayed on thousands of Vietnamese people and thousands of American troops including my uncle and my dad. Now they "hire MERCS for a survey"....come on? Are you employed at Monsanto's?

  • @jayone451 - GMOs are not harmless.

Why do you buy products from companies that profit from GMOs?

    Les

  • @CouldNotCareLes I try not to buy products from companies that profit from GMOs but some companies dont advertise or always let you know that the product is GMO. What is your angle here?, are you for GMOs or against them? Im not trying to say I know everything and im not pretending to either, but because of Monsanto's track record and there history and the fact the Europe refuses GMO products I will not or I cannot allow myself to trust Monsantos.

  • @jayone451

I just showed someone yesterday that almost all of KRAFT's products contain ingredients derrived from GMO grain.

The grocery manufacturers wanted it, you support them when you buy groceries.

The fast food industry wanted it, you support them when you spend money there.

Wake up folks, the people profiting from GMOs are laughing while you blame Monsanto.

    That is my angle.

  • @CouldNotCareLes monsanto bought the technology for terminator seed.. It was not commercialized however Monsanto is working on GURT. genetic use restriction tech.which is essentially the same thing. I dont know whether it is good or bad. it might prevent contamination of organic vs. ge. but it also gives alot of power to big ag and less to the farmer..

  • @lisakaylanemorris GURT is not the same thing.

It is a method of preventing the inserted trait from passing to the offspring.

The seed will sprout, grow and yield a crop just fine, but it won't be resistant to the pest.

    Les

  • @CouldNotCareLes GURT is NOT identical to Terminator technology, however it is simillar. Listen! everyone is entitled to their own opinions and you can put into your own body what ever you want. My problem comes when 90% of corn, soy, cotton, crookneck squash, canola are GMOs .. that is overkill and doesnt leave alot of choice for those of us who dont want to eat it.

  • @lisakaylanemorris - It doesn't leave you any choice Lisa.

The other 10% is mixed in with the 90%

(though I think it is more like 80%GMO and 20% non-GMO)

No one is going to make you a non-GMO frozen microwaveable burrito.

There is a market channel for non-GMO soybeans.

A terminal near me posts a bid for them.

The price is the same as GMO soy, has been for years.

  • @lisakaylanemorris - Incidentally, Syngenta owns a patent on a method of rendering progeny sterile, but you'll never hear that in a YouTube video because they are not Monsanto.

    Les

  • @CouldNotCareLes granted Monsanto is publicized more, but I am aware of Dow, syngenta, bayer, cargill etc..

  • YOU ARE A PATRIOT MO & EVERY PATRIOT IN THIS COUNTRY SHOULD & WOULD SEND YOU DONATIONS TO PAY FOR A LAWYER SEND ME YOUR ADRESS & ILL SEND A MONEY ORDER ?WHY DOESNT ALEX JONES OR ANYONE ELSE HELP "HELP MO PARR" BE A PATRIOT

  • Mo settled out of court because he knew he had broken the law.

Farmers willingly grow GMO crops. If one didn't want GMO seed, there is plenty of non-GMO seed available.

  • Another thing,,,,, If a farmer owns a cow, it is that farmers responsibility to keep that cow fenced in. If that cow gets out, the farmer is responsible for any damage of property the cow causes. So, how does Monsanto get the justice system to work in reverse for them? Why are they not responsible for their gene getting into the grain and seeds of other farmers and infecting their crops?

  • This is the thing right here.......... The patent Monsanto has on their seeds is unconstitutional. If it isn't in the Constitution now, it should be. This kind of thing has to be stopped!!!!!!!!! These people have to be the greediest bastards on the planet.

  • When it's time for revolution Monsanto are the type of company you'll want to punish hard.

How can they sleep at night knowing what they know? Scum of the Earth.

  • This poor guy just trying to make a living in a respectable trade. What this big company with no integrity did to him is revolting. I only hope he can support himself now and that the company that did this will befall a terrible fate.

  • @1GIJosie This is whats happening all over the world its a Corporate take over of the world, Fuck a "New World Order" as they say...its a Corporate World Order and you will get bulldozed if you stand in there way!!

  • If you buy the seeds dont you own them? I never heard of renting a bag of soy seeds.

  • @123maxryan Genitically Modified Seeds by Monsantos have a legal patent, regular natural seeds cannot be claimed by any person/company. So of course they found a loophole!!

  • FUCKKKKKK monsanto!!! Burn in Hell!

  • WATCH! So important!!!! If you haven't seen the indi film "Food, Inc." watch it soon. It should toatlly change the way you view what you eat!!!!

  • Why not file a class action lawsuit against this (govt) company for infecting the fields with the GE seed much like second hand smoke? This seeds pollen is responsible for infecting other "clean" fields much like second hand smoke infects clean air! has this ever been considered???

  • @haunch01 ..... Oooooh, that seems like a brilliant idea. Where do I sign? :)

  • @haunch01 - Why not file a class action lawsuit against this

Why not? Because that would be stupid.

Farmers appreciate the work these companies have done.

  • Hello to all around here:

Have a look on the group "Millions against Monsanto" on Facebook!!!!!

  • This is worse than Scientology

  • Let's start a fund to back farmers in lawsuits against Monsanto

  • Down with Monsanto! The things they have done to all of us with their harmful GE "foods" will come back to them full circle. We will rally against them. Get the word out - Monsanto is what some refer to as the devil only it's a corporation with too much gov't influence and money...not for long. Monsanto's going down via education of the masses.

  • Comment removed

  • save a SEED ... no monsanto seed !!!

  • corporate fascism by moansanto again, percy schmeiser beat them over his canola in canada see his website

  • This video claims that farmers cannot save seeds because Monsanto will not let them. Help me out. Is it that Monsanto does not let farmers save ANY seeds that they purchase? Or that farmers cannot save Monsanto, Dekalb, Asgrow seeds that they purchase? It seems like since these seeds are patented technology, there must be some added benefits and costs associated with these seeds. Why wouldnt a buyer have to sign a form agreeing not to save and replant the seeds? That way everyone is happy.

  • You can't copyright food and enslave humanity if you give the stuff away for free.

Monsanto will be selling GM air soon.

The government has just approved GM in my home of Western Australia. State gallop polls show that over 90% of people don't want it.

But...since Monsanto like suing federal and state governments, and because they have billions to pay their lawyers with, our gutless politicians just take their kickbakcs, and do as they're told.

Monsanto - it's worse than you think!

  • @kingazzaman You forgot to mention that Monsantos purchased Xe corp. formally known as Blackwater....now they have a private army of murderous MERCS...Haifa, Iraq coming to a town near you???

  • @jayone451 -

There is a difference between contracting with a consultant and purchasing a company.

Monsanto does not own Xe corp.

    Les

  • @CouldNotCareLes Either way, a food producing company should have no need for a contract from a infamous security contractor.....my question is for what? Why do they feel they need security? and why do you spend all your time on you-tube sticking up for Monsantos?

  • @jayone451 -

They spent a couple hundred thousand dollars conducting a survey.

    Why shouldn't they?

I spend all my spare time on Youtube defending my industry.

    I am an American Farmer.

    Les

  • @grappleguy77 .

As far as I know these seed cannot be reused. They are infertile. That's part of the modification. So farmers have no other choice but to buy new seeds every year.

  • In the future , having been a Monsanto employee in the past will make you loose your citizenship.

That is how many people have gone against Monsanto.

Because Monsanto is against themselves and they do not care if they win a case against them anyway!

  • codex alimentarius baby look it up

  • Fuck you and your company's dominion over life.

  • YOU CANNOT PATENT LIFE. Getting paid to spread propagansa is reprehensible.

  • Brad a Monsanto apologist likes to mislead.

Seed patents are quite new. The Supreme Court approved of them in 2001.

Clarence Thomas, once a Monsanto employee, wrote the majority opinion.

Congress never wrote seed patents into law. The Supreme Court wrongly took the issue up.

As for raspberrys, Congress did approve long ago "Plant patents" that is, patents on plants that are asexually reproduced. But it still allowed farmers to save seed of sexually reproduced plants.

  • Brad, how did you pick such a company to work for?Did you grow up burning ants with magnfying glasses,Tossing flies into webs?Drowning bags of kittens?

You couldnt have possibly searched out these guys and said to yourself.."Oh BOY!!!! This looks great! You can defend your employer all ya want but it amazes us all what brings people to work for them.

  • @Bradmonsanto Monsanto made agent orange and other terrible chemicals which are still deforming babies to this day. Open your eyes Brad get out of this evil company that is contaminating even natives plants in mexico who never heard of monsanto until they noticed their corn looking different. If you see agent orange victims you will have nightmares.

  • @FernandoTorrera lots and lots and lots billions of billions of dollars= Evil, but if you were thrown billions would you sell out ? kill millions legally but live a long rich life of luxury and have your whole family made for life billionaires? you probably would

  • @Notasheep187 no never I live on this earth why would I destroy it. I would never take corrupt money and is that your justification for poor deformed babies?
