It was actually a 964 model year 911. 1990-1994. Looks bone stock. Only 219 hp at 2840 lbs dry. I've got a 90' 964 C2 that i just put an LS1 in it with 632 hp. I did lots of work to the 3.6 that came in the car and got a little over 300 hp at the crank, but just like all motor heads...it's never enough.
I'll start posting video's of a black 911 with silver 19's destroying your japanese cars soon enough. 632 hp and 2577 lbs wet is a pretty mean street combo.
Keep in mind, the '89 Carrera 4 was considered a super car in it's early days... For a mostly stock Type-R, with a Comptech race header, ATS 4.9, and lightweight flywheel, it held it's own just fine for the stock 195bhp. People who hate on the Type-R, just don't get it.
You gotta admit, this ITR is badass.
Porsche will always be a nice but for a Honda to even have the balls to run against a Porsche is incredible.

ITR should have pulled the 964 considering the mods both cars have. ITR= Poor driver.

the ITR did pretty well, considering the 911 is 250hp (stock) and ITR is 195hp. Open headers on the IRT sound good...
