And before you say anything, I'm a 90's child, I'm biased to that decade more than any other. Ace of Base, The Corrs, The Cardigans, Shania Twain, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, RHCP, you name it. But you really should give credit where it's due.

But nothing today beats 80's and 90's. It was a great time in music, very creative, great quality. No matter how much you teenagers of today love your music, really this new era just isn't the same. Now 10 years into the 21st century, the youth of today see the 80's and 90's as being "old-fashioned" but it was as modern as right now. There were more valuable songs than "disposible" ones. It's today that has the most number of disposable stuff.

I'm a fan of 80's and 90's music because I lived through both decades. I was a child of the 80's and became a teenager of the 90's. (In the '00s I was in my 20's) now in my 30's. But nothing today beats 80's and 90's. It was a great time in music, very creative, great quality. No matter how much you teenagers of today love your music, really this new era just isn't the same. Long live the 80's and 90's. I was 16 when this song was on MTV and for the movie Romeo and Juliet

@stuetrory Even so, there's nothing wrong with nostalgia and glorifying the past. The 80's and 90's WERE different than today. They "completed" the 20th century and are 20th century years. Now 10 years into the 21st century, the youth of today see the 80's and 90's as being "old-fashioned" but it was as modern as right now. There were more valuable songs than "disposible" ones. It's today that has the most number of disposable stuff.

@stuetrory Plus, my pride in the 80's and 90's is that THEY ARE 20TH CENTURY YEARS. The 20th century was the best of all time (despite the 2 World Wars, in peace time, it was the best. I'm glad I was born within the 20th century and grew up on 80's and 90's culture. I can still say that I am a part of the same century as the 20's, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's, which were all great decades/eras...long live the 19 somethings years!

This new decade which will last until 2019 doesn't look promising either. It got worse instead of better if you ask me.
