  • This is heartbreaking, as an Golden owner and lover I could not put my family member through this..Comes a time where the dog is suffering and decisions need to be made, clearly the beautiful Golden is suffering..

  • That dog is faking it, don't feel bad.

  • Thank you for sharing this video and information. I have a 4-1/2 year old golden retriever. She has had 3-4 seizures over the last 2 years. I didn't realize what they were until she had the last two (within 3 months of each other) and started doing more research about it. We are now in the process of getting an official diagnosis and hope that the seizures will not become more frequent.

  • I'm looking into taking a Golden rescue and your video is very informative and helpful. This may be a stupid question but, have vets ever considered an injectable muscle relaxer type of drug to maybe help control the intense muscle spasm therefore alleviate some of the pain maybe? Poor baby. I'm VERY concerned about breeding practices in all breeds lately. Thanks for this video. How old is Tanner?

  • thanks for posting such and informative video. really makes me miss my old golden of 11 years that passed a couple of years ago. he was exactly the same. the only thing i did different than you was; put a towel under him for the really bad smelling urine, get his feet under him and straddle him so that he never felt unstable and felt the need to jump and slam his head on the ground. very scary stuff but you learn to live with it.

  • I dont know my dog she salivate and pees everywhere. and she recently starting to have her seizure attack. Do I need to go to the vet?

  • @mukuXtuna6927 I will answer for amberlox and hope she does not mind. The answer is "Yes!" you must go to a vet asap if you believe your dog has had a seizure. For one thing it could be something else and for another perhaps medication would work to control your dogs seizures.

  • she looks so so cute

  • does her eyes ever roll back and/or does she whine?? The reason I ask is because my 14yro boxer just had what I believe to be his first seizure but he whines all the time and I was told that whining could be a sign of them but he has been whining forever and this is the first time I have ever witnessed him having one so I assume its his first. Could certain hard foods cause seizures because we just change his food and he doesnt seem to like it to much.

  • poor babygirl. she looks such a beautiful girl. may i ask, can she see and hear when she has these seizures?

  • Poor girl..thank you for putting the video up. My dog's family line has epilepsy so I'm watching her everyday to make sure she's ok. This video really explained a lot of things to me. I hope she's doing better now!

  • but his last like 5 mins

  • my dog has epilepsy too. but he poops everytime, and salivates, but makes no noise

  • Your dog is so cute. I'm sorry to hear she goes thru this.

  • my grandfather has a chiuaua a female dog his dog has a seizures

  • have you ever fed your dog Chocolate. "Chocolate contains theobromine. A naturally occurring stimulant found in the cocoa bean, theobromine increases urination and affects the central nervous system as well as heart / muscle. ie a seizure. DONT FEED YOUR DOGS Chocolate.

  • awh he is so cute he dosent wan to have one

  • I just have a question, can a dog suddenly start having seizures? Or are they born with them like Tanner? I mean like I know certain diseases can cause seizures, but I mean seizures that just start happening and can't be cured.

  • I just wanted to say thank you for posting this. My pit/yellow lab mix has been suffering with ??seizures?? since 2008 about once a month. Today for the first time I was alerted that it might be ataxia instead. I've been googling like crazy hoping for a disease that was truly treatable. Anyways, I just wanted to say thank you, because it helps to see what it looks like to compare to my own dog. It's hard to watch, of course. I hope Tanner gets better with her medication. I'm so sorry.

  • Thank you for the video. I think my dachshund has started having mild seizures and this was very informative. Not sure what the deal is with the 2 dislikes, but thanks again!

  • i dont think i can watch this anymore
