@snubbs741 Does her voice need auto-tune? Don't forget that many singers have their voices auto-tuned these days because they're just not such good singers. They get selected by record companies because they have a pretty face, not because they can sing. Lauryn Hill, however, is an exceptionally good singer.

And when do you ever see a hiphop group that has a live band with them these days? Hardly, if ever. Fugees for the win.

@wrongwayup Yeah I know I phrased that wrong I meant that I doubt a modern day record company would sign a band as unconventional as the Fugees without trying to force them to make their music cheap pop. luckily they could record albums like the SCore the way they wanted

@snubbs741 Perhaps, although I also think that many record companies would jump at the opportunity of being the one releasing a new Fugees album, and give them complete artistic and creative freedom. But even then, we have to remember that The Score was made in the 90's, when there was a totally different artistic atmosphere compared to the present. A new Fugees album wouldn't have that 90's vibe to it, which made it so good (actually, I think The Score is the best hiphop album that I know). :)
