I'm just curious onto why most Christians ate pork specially Roman Catholics, Protestants & other religious sectors. I ate pork because i treat pork as food and that's it but i never eat alligators, snakes, cats or any animals that ate other animals for food. During the Old Testament, there were no proper farming for pigs, cures or antidotes that's why they were considered filthy and forbidden .

Pork is no more or less healthy than any other meat if raised and cooked properly.
Besides, Acts chapter 10 is from the New Testament and lifts the prohibitions in Leviticus. Christians are not bound by the Old testament dietary laws.

Truthfully, Christians are called, as all the first Jewish born apostles were, to try their best with the help of the Holy Spirit, to follow ALL of the Bible's teachings. Now, am I saying that you are going to hell gfor eating pork? No, not if you trust in the Lord Jesus Christ. But I am saying that is not God's original plan for you Christian man or woman, and that we should strive to fulfill the law just as Jesus did.

Jesus (may peace be upon him) said I come not to change the law (meaning the Torah the laws that was given to moses from God Almighty) but I come to fufill the Law. He completely telling his people and other people of mankind to do just that. Follow the Ten Commandments and worship God Almighty. If you really eat from the pig don't you know you are really cursed. in this life and the next. Fear Almighty God because He can punish you and He can forgive you for you sins, but do what is right!!!

"Acts of the Apostles" is the first book of the New Testament after the Gospels. In chapter 10 Peter is given a vision in which he sees numerous foods, including ones that aren't kosher. God tells him to take and eat what he wants. Please read it.

The Bible is divided into two sections, the Old and New Testaments. The New Testament, the coming of Christ, details the new covenant God made with humanity. The need for animal sacrifice to atone for sins was removed as Christ had died to become the final sacrifice to atone for all sins. Jesus came to fulfill the law and as a result much of it was no longer needed.

This is not "twisting words" but a reflection of the fact that when Jesus came to die for our sins, God literally changed the rules by which he wanted humanity to live. The mechanism for atoning for out very sins had changed, not just the rules around it.

Read (Leviticus 11). God already told us what to eat. Lets not be stubborn about this. What goes into your mouth has to be healthy. If not.... then we can eat our own shit, our dead family members, our dead pets or just about anything. That can't be o.k. for us to do. There's far more wonderful foods our there. Question. In the new testament. Jesus says, it doesn't matter what goes into your mouth, what matters is what comes out. Does he mean that you can eat pork? And also, I believe it was in Acts, there was a vision and a bunch of food came down from heaven, and God said to eat the unclean food of before, and he one who had the vision/dream didn't want to. And God said that it was ok. Please clarify, I'm a little lost.

Pork is no more or less healthy than any other meat if raised and cooked properly.
Besides, Acts chapter 10 is from the New Testament and lifts the prohibitions in Leviticus. Christians are not bound by the Old testament dietary laws.
