The reason Qantas have engine problems is because Alan Joyce and Geoff Dixon shut down Qantas' engine shop, and sent aircraft maintenance to Hong Kong. I know this because my dad is a pilot at Qantas.

Total insult to Qantas. Lay off them. Not their fault that Rolls Royce wanted to kill a whole a380 load of people for a bit more cash.
