That's just completely not true about his accent. Just another stupid rumor spread by stupid people with no basis in fact or proof whatsoever. He grew up in Guangdong, China. What do you think .. they speak with a Texas accent there?
You either didn't understand my comment or you're replying to the wrong person.
What I said was in reply to boboxd who stated his accent is fake. I'm a fan of Yan. I explained where he grew up and that his accent isn't fake. That's it.
I dont know anything but my cousin walked by him once in chinatown in San Francisco's fair. She saw him in person and he spoke with no chinese accent... my cousin wouldn't lie about something like that. so yea.. thats what she had to say about actually seeing him
hehe yeah. he's barely 60 this yr. and this was last yr. He says that we should have oyster sauce. (no good for vegan cuisine). btw in 2007... I know the Lee Kum Kee brand is like the #1 brand in North America... people still cannot really find a bottle without msg in the ingredients. msg-not "healthy".
yeah rite, and you people kill the shark and eat the fins and tosses the rest !

Lee Kum Kee has a vegetarian "oyster" sauce. It's made with mushroom extracts. I believe that one does not have MSG either. Try it.

88 is a good luck number for Chinese people, idiot.
fixquinn 4 years ago 3
Especially for the people which speak in Cantonese, because the sound of 8 is similar to Cantonese"rich"or"Wealthy"
