@kevinf1990 But thats not a high tech feature, all that requires is infrastructure that allows the tiny chip to transmit the information, I have the same tech on my credit card when I tap my credit card at mcdonnalds and it sends my information through. Think about it if they had better tech then they would sell their phones here in the worlds largest market, they would be able to make a phone that can Compete here and make MORE money. Their phones aren't anything special

@poopaholictar that's a good point but i believe that japanese cell phone companies don't bring their phones to the US is because US is not as innovative as Japan to implement such an infrastructure. for example japanese has had video calling for all carriers for a long time and the US is just starting to develop video calling but even then it's crippled by wifi and carrier for now. some of the phones by sharp even has a fingerprint reader and face detection system for security.

@kevinf1990 Sure the US has a lagging infrastructure partly due to politics and geography, since its more spread out and less compact making the implimentation MUCH more difficult.

BUT! Cellphone markers are a business and they need to make as much money as possible, and the US markets more then twice as large. And on phones tech thats not relaying on infrastruture they haven't been able to complete. They do not have as nice screens, multitouch, and they have been out teched in the US.

@kevinf1990 If they had phones that are soo much more advanced they they would ship over the same phones and say "ready for 4g" much like the "evo" "motorola x" but they haven't they are only able to make inferior smartphones losing out on the largest market.

Only thing that makes our phones different is we do not have towers set up to allow streaming TV. Other then that its the same tech just more clunky with out multitouch and as advanced screens.
