Yes, it was great to sit down with someone who loves both Judo and Brazilian Jujitsu and hear about how each is connected. As information technology brings us closer together we might find there is only one true martial art... The one that works!

Great information! I didn't know that original Judo practiced Jiu Jitsu. I think it is so important to separate the sport side of martial arts from the practical side. In real life most people can't do all the fancy moves you see in the movies and secondly they're not effective for most situations. My bet is a Jiu Jitsu/Judo practicioner would have a huge advantage over someone who kicks and punches and doesn't know ground techniques.
