  • i like your green fender strat, it is very nice

  • After I don't listen to Davy for a while I tend to forget how amazing he is.

I'm always like "pfft he's no Clapton"

But then i see a video on youtube and i realize, I'm right.

He may not be Clapton, but he sure as hell is Davy Knowles. and I'm LOVIN' it!

  • SO WTF! This band isn't together anymore? What happened?

  • its now Davy Knowles and back door slam - the bass player and drummer got replaced and now there is a keyboardist

  • @seantyler Davy is still touring with Back Door Slam, just not the two guys in this performance. I saw him in DC a few months ago and he lit the place on fire for 2 straight hours.

  • wow what a song...

is this on the roll away album?

  • yeah Davey is the front man and the real man of the band the others dont compare he should definately find two others and a pianist to jam

  • that would be awesome to have a piano player. kind of like Rory Gallagher's mid-70's band, with Lou Martin, Gerry McAvoy, and Rod d'Ath

  • holy shit Davy Knowles is one hell of a guitarist

  • isnt this song "takes a real man" and not "real man"...im not sure cause i allways get these confused

  • theyre the same song just different versions i think

  • P.S. Very sad the band has broken.

However, it's not unusual for a supremely talented Strat player, who also does vocals and does most of the songwriting, to break out.

    Three examples: Hendrix, Gallagher, Clapton.

  • Davy Knowles is the heir to the throne.

    Goddamn!

  • Great vocals!

  • Ive met them going on 4 times. Winderful guys. I love them!

  • Thank God!!

  • Groovin solo. I couldn't help but gyrate a little.

  • Oh yes, i'm so happy to finally see this live! I asked Davy a few times to play this tune at the show I was at in Milwaukee and he said they weren't playing it...but now....good stuff! =)
