Dragon Age 2 walkthrough Part 15

I'm really trying to get into this game but since i played Dragon age 2 demo from Xbox live Marketplace the game was horrible, i'm not sure if the demo was on a alpha or beta but it was seriously bad and i actually think that the first part is better than DA2 from what I've played. I haven't played the first either but the gameplay i seen just convinces me completely, can someone tell me if the second game was a complete failure or i'm just misinformation everything?

@RydarGames: Have to ask, mate. Why do you panic during fights? I say "Panic" because there will be moments when you rush around the battle instead of finding a single tactical point, and on top of that you don't pay the attention you should to your team, and they often take beatings they shouldn't. You have healing, yet you didn't use it on yourself or Carver (who got knocked out) Use the Pause (radial) take a breath and look about. Also, use Tactics so your team can use potions on their own.

they way you do your stats is wrong in my opinion but nice walk through but mages isn't my thing i like rogue archer myself

@sailorxxc There's a NPC in lowtown that'll fund your expedition if you wasted all your gold, though you'll get less in Act2 because of it. As for the map, do Ander's quest and you'll have it. You can do the expedition as long as you have 50g.

You have to level up your character's willpower for items too, not just magic...you could have met the requirements for that new mage robe last level up. But, it's your game, do what you want.

@RydarGames ok,... another question. why not enter the points of Merrill in something that your mage hasn't got already instead of repeating the elemental variety? That way you can vary more the overall attack of your party. (not criticizing, I am honestly curious as to see why you and I have different approaches)

ur walkthrough is great, but at least specialize in different magic school for merrill like primal rather than specialize in elemental, since Hawke is already an elemental mage. it'w make ur walkthrough more nicer to watch. (just a suggestion)

@H0ll0wz It's supposed to give you more depth into your relationships, Bethany adoring you as the younger sister and Carver resenting you/magic/your acomplishments cause it overshadows him. Though you're right, would be awesome to play a mage and have that extra bond with bethany if she lived.

Rydar raise your cunning lvl, it helps lower the damage from enemies, and constitution for higher health
