  • I noticed in your video you said that your tree came in a 4 inch plastic pot. Was that the 1-2 ft or 2-3 ft tree you purchased. I had one before (2 yrs ago), but I think it was just a meyer lemon tree not an improved meyer (I could be wrong). Ready to give it another try.

  • @storm965 It was 2-3 feet. Mine is just a meyer lemon tree. Right now it has 12 lemons on it and 4 are just about ripe.

  • @transientdreams Thanks, if they come for mine, I'll let the world know.

  • i was thinking about getting this tree. but im not sure how big it get.. I wanted to have it indoor since it does get cold here below 50 degree outside. Any suggestion?

  • @tdiep They get 6 to 10 feet tall but you can keep it pruned to stay smaller. I love my lemon tree, it has 11 lemons on it right now. It has been outside all summer but I will bring it inside for the winter.

  • wow amazing

  • How is yours not thorny? cuz mine is. :(

  • @spacemaster911 It has some thorns but they're not too bad.

  • @imstillworkin Mine is taller than yours. How am I not getting fruit?

  • @spacemaster911 Are you sure you have a Meyer Lemon? It's a grafted tree. Could the grafted top have been broken off at some point and you're growing the rootstock? I know someone that is growing a lemon tree from a seed she got at the grocery store and she says it is very thorny and will take years before it will produce. Has your tree bloomed?

  • @imstillworkin I don't know, I have a lemon Meyer cuz the tag said so. I got mine as a gift from some friends. Later, on the tag, it had the lowes logo. Mine has never flowered. Plus, I live in north Florida so the climate might effect the tree's blooming and growth. :(

  • @spacemaster911 u can cut them off it wont hurt it

  • I loved your video, thanks for sharing what you've learned.

  • @foreseengust Thanks, I did an update video on the lemon tree today. I'm uploading it right now.

  • Your tree looks beautiful!

  • Gonna get rid of my black plastic pot.

  • I love my meyer lemon trees. Yours look better than mine. Not boring at all. Nothing brightens up the house like the smell of those lemon blossoms. Thanks so much for sharing.

  • Well...I wasn't bored at all! This is fascinating.:) I'm pretty sure growing lemons wouldn't work in my climate...zone 3.

  • Interesting. Tree looks good.

  • Definitely not boring. You have such interesting projects.

  • I was wondering what usda zone you are in. I'd like to get a meyer also but live in zone 5 so it will really struggle

  • @preparedchipmunk I'm in zone 8, but near the border of zone 7. The Meyer lemon has been bred to be an indoor plant. I believe it won't get more than 6 feet tall. I also saw an "Improved Meyer Lemon" at a local nursery. It was more like a bush than a tree.

  • Not boring at all! Thank you for sharing.

  • I am not bored at all and would love updates on the lemon tree if you learn anything new on growing them..I love lemon and would love to grow my own ,I am going to get myself a lemon tree..Thanks so much..

  • Tell you husband, "This one woman said she was enthralled with my videos."

  • I am meeting a bunch of people on YouTube that I would love to have for a mentor. You're one of them. Love your videos! I think I'm going to order one of those!

  • How fun that it is thriving. Thanks for the vid. I'm not bored...
