  • your design is stunning.

  • You sir are nothing short of a genius.

  • Locus solus

  • I've been thinking about getting a Makerbot or RepRap to do this sort of thing, but I don't think that those low cost machines are up to it. Has anyone tried this sort of thing with low-res machines?

  • @MrRJBowman i have looked at them to. Their resolution is to poor at present to pull off something this fine.

  • W O W

  • fap fap fap fap fap fap!!

  • Reminds me of my GIJoe toy Action Figure (doll) from the 60s but a little more flexible and with alien eyes.

  • You did a great job! I hope to make a BJD soon, and find that the way you jointed the whole torso is wonderful! Don't worry, I won't copy you, lol. Just a wannabe (soon to be artist?) here, admiring a pro. :)

  • wonderful. i love these translucent materials.

  • I would LOVE to have a 7-11 cm version of this! a BJD for my BJD

  • can i buy her

  • @thedevo01 - the Objet 3D printer can produce these moving ball and socket joints in a single print with n need for assembly. This is one of the advantages of using Objet 3D printers which are based on inkjet photopolymer jetting technology - the ability to create highly accurate moving parts within a greater whole.

  • I'm in the weird part of YouTube...

  • @Elastikid No you're not. You haven't run into the dad from the wild thornberry's face photoshopped onto The Little Mermaid singing a song while he's yelling "MUR MUR MUR" in the background, have you?

    True story.

  • She's beautiful. Ray Harryhausen would have killed for this technology.

Was the bone white color an artistic choice, or is it a limitation of the technology? I know some people buy ball-joint dolls without color, and then paint them themselves. Both hair and eyes are on the market, but I suspect you could have done eyes. Hair... is that possible, or is that for next year's machine? ^_~

  • Was this printed in pieces and put together, or can printers of this kind print such things right away?

  • Fap FapFapFapFapFapFapFapFapFapFapFapFapFapFapFapFapFapFapFap!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @Egeorgewill wth xD

  • anybody ever told you the empty eye sockets are creepy as shit?

  • giggity

  • @SoyBoySigh lolumad bruh?

  • @SoyBoySigh

Put some eyes in it, add some hair, and tint her skin any of the variety of skin tones found in the human race, and yeah, I think it WOULD be better for your kids to play with than Barbie.

BTW, what is the point of going on the Internet to call somebody a nerd? Or did you dictate that comment to your more-literate buddy?

  • @SoyBoySigh You obviously have never heard of Asian Ball Jointed Dolls before have you? That's what they're supposed to look like...

  • seriously she can bend like tht??this is great work!

  • This really is breath taking, Bravo, Bravo.

  • can u do a tutoril on how to make this type of body which can move plsssss

  • Beautiful!!!.... speechless

  • great work, amazing

  • it's great - what kind of 3d printer are you using?

  • Fabulous Sculpt, I adore all her joints and possibility!
