This song, Wandering Flame, and the theme that plays when you're heading into Zanarkand to fight Yunalesca really brings the game to an emotional peak that makes you never want to turn the game off. I think I was up until 4AM the first time I played through this section of the game. Incredibly moving stuff...

When this played the first time as i was going up gagazet i was in awe. i didnt want to leave the area because i didnt want the music to stop. and when i reached the top and found seymour it all made sense...the perseverance of tidus and the group goes along perfectly with the perseverance and final stand of the ronso. Its almost like the music is the wisdom thats passing from them as they die...
It gives off this "We're almost there." in a sad way. A pinpoint way of showing Tidus' and Rikku's emotions on the way to Zanarkand while still having no way of saving Yuna from dying off of the final summoning.
