Well Nate - I don't use the computer all that much... and now helping out there, my time has been more directed to V-Heads. It's hard for me to maintain both, as well as I had many personal issues as well this past month.

I was one of the first 100 signed up on Vloggerheads, but I haven't even been back to check on my account in over a month now. It is not that I didn't like what was happening there, it is just hard to find the time to maintain both sites. After watching your video, however, I think I will make an effort to get involved a bit more back over there. I guess the one thing I wanted, maybe they've added by now, is some sort of sub system, because I don't have time to watch every video!

Nope... that is something they are still working on. However, you can respond to videos.

They also show you how to use RSS as a way to keep track of people who you enjoy watching, but it's more community interaction.

They have started groups which has been interesting... And, you can invite who you want to... :)

As you know I have my own issues with Renetto's style. That being said I did check things out and although I am not extremely involved in the site I think people should check it out for themselves. If they don't like it they can certainly leave at anytime. Sometimes people miss out on some good things because of their preconceived ideas.

YT has about 60 people, 60 whopping people working directly with the world's largest video upload website. It's an absolute test of futility. I have been thinking about getting back into YT vlogging. I like the idea of accountability over there, it's great to have a place to go where everyone who is commenting is also producing vids (at least I think that's what goes on there, like an actors guild for vloggers maybe?) It's a community - and not all people in communities 'vlog'. They teach etc...

The bid difference? Accountability. Hard to make sock accounts. Civil discourse. Easy to use and clean. No ratings... (I love this) so it takes the competition and greed out of the mix. It's a morphing community so who knows where it will go... however, you don't have to worry about constant bullying.

We have played out in the past but our lead guitarsit moved away about 3 months ago. We're are now practicing with another guitarist we've knowon for 3 years. I'm also the soundman so it's a battle to quiet him up. But since we haven't had a gig in a long time he's starting to listen.

I understand these 2 points. The name (would not have been my choice) and reaching a mass audience. The community has recently been debating the pros and cons of opening up "the flood gates" soon. It will be interesting to see what they decide to do.

I used to moderate on a few messageboards as well "lived" under moderation myself for now 10 years.

The moment where users and moderaters are one - things can go bad easily.

That resulted for me in being banned, harrased, my emails or even more delicate personal details* being exposed by moderators that had acces to it, over simple differences like politics, philosophy, etcetera.

*= I dont give them out ever, until neccesary or to extremly longterm and good friends
