The only time kosovo was separated from Serbia was during World war II when it was rattached to Albania by Nazi Germany. Albanians started arriving in Kosovo after 1690, supported by Turks who were occupying the Balkans. Albanians became a majority progressively after world war II. There is no historical or cultural sign of albanian presence on Kosovo anterior to second half of nineteenth century (Prizren League) Therefore Serbians have full rights to reconquer their territory sooner or later.

There's certainly an element of truth in that sxCoy.
However, the KLA were a terrorist group. The Serb atrocities were carried out by an official state army, which puts blame and responsibility directly on the state.
For many people, myself included, the image that springs to mind when anyone mentions this war is General Mladic shaking hands with the Dutch UN commander. With a big smile on his face he says that no one will be harmed. He then enters Srebrenica and oversees the massacre.

War is war and atrocities were done on both sides. Civilians get caught in the middle of it and thats how it is in EVERY war around the world. KLA started attacking normal Serbs straight after its formation in 1997. It went on like that for a couple years until the army came in. If a terrorist group like the KLA did this in your own home country how do you think they would react? They would do the same thing and protect their state so the blame cant be put on Serbia.

Im not Serbian or Albanian however everyone knows that Albanians collaborated with the Nazis in the Holocaust. They killed many thousands of Serbs and Jews - then they were victimized by the Serbs.
