  • Yay! Nanowrimo! I always start and never finish. (Story of my life really.)

    ...And FINISH YOUR QUILT! RAWR!

  • @CleoTheSim hehehe THANKS and RAWR RIGHT BACK AT YOU!

    Do it.

  • Hey Jane?...would you say your quilt is distopian? Also...do you enjoy reading naughty, dirty romance paperbacks?

  • @FOSEEBOY no and no

  • Always mean to do NaNoWriMo but never have the time. Maybe next year. Good luck with it!

  • @DLandonCole Thanks Landon...What sort of stuff do you think about writing?

  • I am also doing NaNo. I have posted a few videos about it. I used to write exclusively in the sci fi genre (actually published a novel,) but I've moved on to mystery. My opinion: it's ok to focus more on plot and character and dialogue in a first draft, then go back in rewrites to take care of swapping cliches for unique imagery. Enjoy. Buddy me if you can stand a mystery-writer-buddy. I'm also buddies with YouTuber Lizardlass, and she is buddies with David John Welman

  • @gamutman cool - so are you 'gamutman' there?

  • @CityzenJane Yep, gamutman there, here, most everywhere.

  • @gamutman Cool! I will look you up. The site is sooooooo painfully slow.

  • Also - thanks - that sounds like really useful advice. I am also a little nervous about the weird tech that keeps popping into existence and how it fucks up the logic /plot - but yeah... that's for the third draft maybe....

  • sorry for the sniffles! - ew...
