  • That's very interesting. I would think that the more you are moving around the more things get moving and the frequency would go up. It's strange that it's the opposite. Good to know! :)

  • Thanks for sharing your journey with us. Your scars are fine. I'm glad you are doing as well as you are. Your videos are been very educational for me. I do appreciate you putting forth the effort to help others with this.

  • I tend to think that our brains tell us in a way of how much to go to the bathroom.

We are home and more relaxed, we go more often.

We are at work, we (brains) tense up and we hold it in more.

    That is my experience.

  • Would you be able to play contact sports at this point? And also can you hold off going to bathroom? And if so for how long? Thank you!

  • @sensboy1 I'm not much of a contact sports guy, but I don't really see the J-pouch being a barrier to ANY physical activity. How long I can hold it depends on what I'm doing and when I eat. Like I said in the video, if I'm more active and during things, then the frequency goes down as I think I'm absorbing more water to stay hydrating. 5-6 hours between bathroom visits is not uncommon.

  • Thanks Dennis, informative as usual, I'm sticking with the bag!

    Best of luck.
