I bought Oblivion, sadly, my computer does not meet requirements, when I click Oblivion, then play, a black box in the top left pops up, then another one with a loading bar that says "Oblivion has stopped working." ... I gotta pay like $200 to get it to meet requirements...

-I can't understand your first question.

-Yes, you have to remove it. Delete the ATI drivers, and install the nvidia drivers.

-Well, I don't know what type of gamer you are. You want a good ati card? hd 5970 then. You'll need a good power supply for this one.

A cheap, but good? hd 4850. You'll need at least a 400w power supply (I recommend Corsair)

1. depends entirely what card model it is.

2. You would just need to uninstall your drivers and disable the chip through your bios

3. if you do have a graphics card, you would be able to pull it out and replace it with another, however if it is onboard graphics (which it sounds like what you have), you could literally just put the card in your PCI slot, install the latest drivers and enjoy :)

2048x1536 is a 4:3 aspect ratio monitor. if you multiply 4:3 by 512, you'll get 2048:1536. so yes, that resolution is real.

or in other words, it's basically 4x 1024x768.

Yes I do play it and it is a phenomenal game with quality levelling system and amazing magic skills (staves can actually fire magic!), but that doesn't mean the graphics are any good at all compared to modern games such as Crysis.

It was the worst thing about Morrowind and nothing has changed, since.

Any game where you have to keep a tally of how many times you advanced in this skill and how many times you advanced in that skill on a piece of paper, just because the developers were so numb from the morphine that they neglected to translate the necessary implements of accessibility, has a crippled levelling system.

They have this urge to be overly complicated, but it's just restrictive.
