5'=5 foot. 1foot=12inches.  5 x 12inces= 60inches

5'9"= 60 + 9= 69 inches

I don't know about this: I think Janice wanted the clients to have good, professional models to work with, and to know that Desiree has bad attitude as they made their choice. As opposed to Peter's idea that let the clients pick their models, then it's their business to deal with the models and their bad attitudes.
