Also actually I don't want to watch it in German because a lot of acting gets lost when the voice is not original.

But there's no other solution yet...

You might want to check, some cinemas in Germany offer some screenings of films on the Original Version. Who knows if they're gonna do that with a film such as Adam, seeing that it's not one of those "major blockbusters", but it's worth asking/checking for sure! :)

The films they are showing in the OVs are sometimes pretty hard to find though.

Honestly, I didn't think the whole thing's funny. Unlike Adam, I'm on the high end of AS and no longer give facts, facts, facts and deeply annoyed when it's used as entertainment. I know because I was mocked as a kid.

I didn't see it as mocking....the parents didn't know the situation. the father IS an idiot...but the mother senses something..and from a "heart" place...i loved it and saw it twice. I identified strongly with "Adam". I suspected I was a very high functioning aspie, but we atribute my symptoms to other things now. It was also a very informayive move, many don't know about AS.

Used to get that a lot from people as a teenager. The father proved that you don't have to be from the hood to be a jerk. You know what's sad, I actually agreed that Adam wasn't for Beth, at least not until she was away from him and Adam learned to be on his own with all the things she taught him.

I think so too since she was too whiney and had enough problems on her plate. I also think that it was good that he moves out of his comfort zone and moves onto meet other people who seem interested in him. I mean, she didn't really seem all that interested in him if you think about it.
