I can see why Israel is like that with their security there. Their country has been at war since the biblical age. The help of the U.S. is not making the situation much better. There needs to be a more serious look as to why the U.S. is becoming the target of terrorism. One question can be; Is the United States' influience in the Middle East pissing people their off?
@dmp079 Is the United States influence in the Middle East? they need to by that i mean it is the only thing they know. ww1 the US sent the Lusitania in to German waters when Germany seed they wood sink any boat seen in there waters ww2 the US stopped funds and shipments to Japan. to make them fight let them bomb pearl harbor. Gulf of Tonkin of Vietnam your made it up they have came out and seed it. iraq they had nukes right? lol its not if they influence its way the influence is the real ( ? )
it's a slow but sure way of relinquishing our(global) freedoms. Hand it over or you'll be shot. or held in a prison for 12 years. More security means less freedom for all(globally). Even if you are innocent.
I hope all this will destroy the airline industry. Maybe then people will start to finally wake up. I think one the sane people could is to forgo using airplanes to travel.
Israel is a country of 7 million. The U.S. is a country of 307 million. There's no practical way Israeli-style interrogation could be instituted nationwide here. Israelis interrogated (I would say "harassed" me) both coming and going when I went over there with a Southern Baptist tour group and I will NEVER go back. In fact, I will NEVER fly commercially again. It's not because I fear terrorism. It is because I do not like being presumptively treated as if I were one myself.
Especially because Israel is a Us Subsidized state to the tune of $10 million a day! Paranoia is created by such moronic stupidity raises it head. Look @ Israel! Such embarrassing stupidity!
They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.

I like this guy
he's a little too progressive for me, but this has some actual intelligent, rational discussion.
