Whoever designed the user interface for that phone was crazy. Meaningless two-letter function buttons that all look the same..? Even for the early 80s it's a pretty rubbish design.
Haha I guess they started saying the letter o instead of a zero before mobiles then (see end of video). This is my pet hate, o is a letter, not a number.
That phone is about as user-friendly as a modern day mobile telephone contract. So complicated you need a degree in physics to work out how to use it.

Standard Trunk Dialling or Subscriber Trunk Dialing = STD.
Meanwhile, some of us were still on the old black wind up phone and spoke to a real operator lady till the mid 1980's.
