dude... i pad also has 1024x768 resolution and you guessed it... 4:3 aspect ratio. If you don't believe me just look a pic of one their screen is also square and if you still don't believe me go to the apple webpage and check the specs.

Do you have an opinion about this model vs. the newer Le Pan II? I'm trying to decide between the two and wonder if the nearly $100 US difference is worth it for the newer one.

Hi. Thank you for your review. I am on the fence about purchasing this item because of numerous online reviews that discuss the issue of continuous freezing and having to reboot many times. Have you experienced this issue?

@Kat3369 Yes, this is true. Crashing does increase with use, but when it crashes all you have to do is hit the reset button at the back and voila back to normal again. This is an issue that LePan should definitely fix.

@iAmHeart2urSoul No idea! I am in Canada so I cannot test this out. But if the Nook App is an android app then it should work. At least in theory.

So far, so good. I'm having great difficulty setting up my att email account though & that bums me out. I do wish that when I hit the browser button it would always go to the homepage I set up instead of the last page I viewed. Other than that, quite fun!

This tablets a rip off. just get the kindle fire, its a dual core. and the camera on this is horrible. kinda heavy too. even the swiping is buggy

& what screen protector do u have? is it miroed? where can i get one?

@DimplezZz11 It comes standard with a 2GB micro SD card, but I went ahead and bought a 16GB one from Amazon for a cheap price. You can probably get a cheap one from ebay as well.

Now as for the screen protector, I didn't have one on in the video and I use the tablet without the screen protector, but any HP touchpad screen protector will do just fine :)

@DimplezZz11 The case is called the targus trus THZ07202US case. It doesn't affect any of the buttons, this case in specific fits perfectly with the LePan and all of its buttons, volume, connectors, etc... are still usable inside the case.

This case does add a bit of weight to the device though so keep that in mind.

Finally, I bought it from Amazon. Just search "Targus HP touchpad case" on Amazon and you will find it.

@jordan492600 The Le Pan ha the same dimensions as the HP Touchpad. So just look for some cases for the Touchpad and you should be good :)
