He began to design weapons "to protect the Motherland". The AK was based off the the SGT-44 and/or the MP44. You could say Russia stole the design from this gun.

Yes, MP44 is StG44, exactly the same gun, MP44 stands for Maschinpistol 44, and Machinpistol is SMG in German. MP40 is a Maschinpistol. But, since MP44 isnt actually a SMG, but classed as an Assault Rifle, they changed its name to Sturmgewehr 44 instead, wich then became Germanys famous assault rifle.

Just saying it now, FG42 stands for FallschirmjägerGewehr 42. Its not an assault rifle but classed as an LMG.

well the mp44 can be both a spray gun or you can hit from far range it depends on game style, if you want to stay back and flank an area put deeper penetration because its jumpy and from far range you can hit a wall and it will jump up to their head or body but if you like running corners put steady aim so u dont have to scope as much

I really like the MP44 now because I discovered that if you shoot it in burst meaning just tap the trigger 2-3 times you will drop your enemy like a fly. Its a very good gun. I cannot believe I did not experiment with this sooner the MP44 has a unique recoil its vertical so when you shoot in burst you always hit in the neck are head. If you aim for the chest only.
