be sure and visit Salt Creek Falls, Proxy Falls Sahalie Falls, Koosah Falls, Tumalo Falls Burney Falls, Sol Duc Falls, and all the waterfalls along the columbia river gorge there is over 50 waterfalls on the river... most of them are on hiking trails on the mountains... especially Tunnel Falls
My Wife and I were on holiday there this past July from the UK. We loved it there, spent the day and had a picnic lunch, enjoyed the town, saw Mayor Stu, thought the whole trip was a hoot.
